Fantastic experience which I would definitely recommend for afternoon tea with a bit of class. Felt just like we were travelling through the Swiss countryside. The food was delicious and a really good price. Staff were very friendly and couldn't do more for you, wonderful service.
Our afternoon tea here was a lovely, relaxing experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a vegetarian option, a choice of selection of the finger sandwiches, choice of fruit or plain scone and a selection of teas. We watched a winter scene of a train journey through Switzerland as we sat and enjoyed our afternoon tea. The food was deliscious and just the right amount. We all agreed its one of the nicest afternoon teas we've had.
What a gorgeous place. The downstairs was just beautiful and would love to go back during the day for high tea. The function suit was also beautiful, and staff were so friendly and helpful.
Had afternoon tea here it was amazing, from very helpful and friendly staff to the atmosphere you really feel as if you are on the orient express. video of journey above each table looks like a train window food is excellent and freshly made really worth a visit you won't regret it
Fantastic experience. Afternoon tea in a venue kitted out like the carriages of the Orient Express. 5 star service from very polite waiters. Food was excellent. Well worth the money. Will return and recommend.
1st time here it was amazing never seen anything like it. Staff were lovely and very attentive afternoon tea delish, can't wait to go back
Fab relaxing Xmas afternoon tea at a great price. Great experience and will be back - we all loved it especially the friendliness of staff
One of the best afternoon tea's I've had. The scones were superb and the coffee delicious. Lovely atmosphere, brilliant staff. Loved it. Will make a point of visiting here the next time I'm in Edinburgh.
I have come all the way from the south and this is by far, one of the best afternoon teas myself and partner have attended, we have now attended twice by the way. The service is spot on all staff are all smart, presentable, professional, and are able to answer all questions regarding the service provided. The food was fantastic, with thinking outside of the box they position the sandwiches as such of ways for consumers to see how many they have each, along with which sandwiches are theirs. This is also a family run business and NOT A CHAIN, so you as the customer will feel more valued then as you would do in a chain, with the music along with screens on the walls, it will give you the impression that you are on the real moving Orient Express! FINAL POINT: If you live near by, make sure you get yourself booked in and visit, because there is nothing like this down south just due to how unique it is, if I was able to I would happily have this wonderful place on my doorstep!
We met friends here recently for Afternoon Tea. Absolutely loved the whole experience, the Orient Express theme, is amazing. Food was delicious & the staff couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely be back.
