I had a service and MOT recently on my car. All three employees were very professional and kept me up to date with any work that needed to be done. The garage is very clean and organised. Excellent service, recommend using this friendly local garage. Very conveniently close to town, so can pop to shops whilst work completed. Thank you Quayside Motor Engineers.

Avoid these clowns like the plague. I had my car booked in with this lot through Servicing Stop to have all 4 brake hoses replaced. 

It was due to be picked up between 9-10am. They called me at 9am to say "it will be picked up some time this morning" - which should have set the alarm bells ringing. 

After chasing them up at 11am and again at midday, they finally showed up at 12.30pm - when I was told "we should have your car back to you today - if you're lucky". 

I received a call from Servicing Stop at 4.25pm to tell me they could only do one of the brake hoses & my options were to either have my car back that night (which I needed for work the following day) or let them keep it for "at least another day" so they could complete the work - at an additional cost of "the garage reckons somewhere between £200-300". 

When the car was finally brought back to me at 6.40pm, the guy dropping it off (who claimed to be the manager) first of all told me that Servicing Stop hadn't even told them they were doing the work until 10am - which was blatant lie as Quayside had called me about picking it up at 9am! 

The guy told me they couldn't finish the work due to them not being able to remove the 3 remaining the brake hoses - but after he told me they started looking at the car at 2pm, he couldn't think of an excuse when I asked him why it took so long for them to advise me they couldn't do all the work required. 

My guess is they couldn't be bothered to work late & complete the work as promised as they had lost so much time earlier in the day by not picking the car up on time..... 

Thanks to these muppets, I am now having to go through the process of getting a full refund through Servicing Stop & getting the car booked in somewhere else to complete the job they screwed up. 

Avoid this garage or risk having them either try to rip you off or them not completing the work on time - or both. You have been warned.....

Matt and his guys have been looking after our cars for the last 2 years.
They seem to run very punctually ! Communication is excellent ! 
No nasty surprises , they will even give you the option of purchasing used parts to keep the cost down if only genuine parts are the option (which was the case on my Honda).
My car always drives better after they have serviced it.
I am always pleasantly surprised with the size of the invoice when I pick the car up.
It is a real boon to find a garage that isn't constantly looking for an angle to ramp the bill up , I won't be using anyone other than Quayside in future.
