A very nice man. Gave me a ring for my keys straight away.
Amazingly good "old school" cobblers who do higher quality repairs than the chains - and usually for a lot less money. No, they can't repair everything, but they are so good with soles or heels that seem to look trashed, their wonderful work can seem like magic. Well worth going a little out of my way to take shoes to them.
