Great spot for a carvery in Stockport! The gammon on the carvery was next-level. Juicy, perfectly cooked, and just the right amount of saltiness, it was absolutely delicious. The rest of the roast was good too, but that gammon stole the show for me. Service was spot on, super friendly and quick, and the atmosphere was really warm and welcoming. It's one of those pubs where you can just relax and enjoy a proper hearty meal. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

Wow. This was amazing. Lots to choose from. I ordered the carvery. The service was excellent, polite and very efficient. A regular Carvery was great value and the Large Caevery you get a lot more extra meat too. Definitely worth trying Food: 5/5
An excellent place to have a nice informal meal with family and friends. I had the steak n ale pie special, which tasted great, and others had a very nice carvery. Would recommend if in the area.Food: 5/5

Anyone who has been to the Puss in Boots will know that you can't get much better. Staff are lovely, landlord gets to know all of his customers and makes them feel welcome. Food is hearty and to a good standard. Always clean and tidy. Worth a visit.
Visited last weekend. I had beef lasagne/garlic bread/salad and my partner had pepperoni pizza Both were spot on sooo much flavour piping hot and freshly made. Super busy with it being Sunday but service was great as well. Never had a bad meal here! Parking: Easy to get a space
Very busy, but fitted us in for table for 4 straight away. Frank very friendly and helpful. Food came out bit earlier before the others could get carvery, but not an issue, were very apologetic about it. Food was fresh and good quality. Reasonable priced. Had a great time. A perfect spot on a sunny day with friends and family. If you are in the area, do walk to the spot, as the road that takes you there is quite pleasant. Inside must be nice as it was kind of full when we arrived just after 12pm on a Sunday, but outdoor seating area was super nice too. Vegan burger was delicious and my friend who had fish and chips said it was amazing.
A nearby post rehearsal for a group of us. Unfortunately, clashes with Quiz night which is partway through when we arrive. Quizmaster microphone/speaker very loud also so we use covered area outside which can be heated. Service is fantastic and although I've rarely had food there, friends say it's very good and well presented. Parking: Gets busy after 9pm Wheelchair accessibility: Level entrances throughout.
