The train was delayed for an hour and the gentleman that was working there was just exceptional. He was on his own and the seamless and friendly way he served everyone and did his best to ensure everyone was looked after properly was impressive. Food was running low but he was apologetic and courteous with all customers. 10/10 for customer service. The sausage roll was delicious. Dietary restrictions: Dairy alternatives available
Wed 8 Feb Exeter St David's Great Western Station - very strange problem with the till on my attempt to pay for my 2 coffees.. Although my card said approved twice the employee said it didnt go through her the till. Then I said I'd have to leave coffee as I only had £6.50 in cash. She told me that she would have to pay for the coffee herself and flew into a strop. Not wishing her to have to pay for coffee herself, I left the £6.50 and left with coffee. On checking my bank account, the transaction for £7 went through twice. So clearly problems with the card reader and the till. On calling her today to report that I had paid twice plus the £6.50 and would be seeking a £13.50 refund for over payment, she again got really defensive and said that this had happened to a few customers and that she needed to report this to her HR and Head Office. I asked for their number and she refused to give it to me instead she asked me for my bank details so that the payments I'd made could be 'verified with her manager' and if so I would get a refund. Considering reporting this incident to Trading Standards as there is clearly a problem at this outlet and will pursue my refund.

Bekah serving me on platform 5 at Exeter St Davids, always smiling, polite, kind, quick, the cafe is clean, bright and presentable.
Girl serving was very rude and when I asked for sugar she raised her voice and told me to wait whilst she served someone else . There was rubbish everywhere and it's hardly my fault the condiments hadn't been replenished. I won't use pumpkin again
Highly recommend this for a pitstop before your journey. Tom was cheerful, witty and efficient.
Unenthusiastic staff and a sausage bap worthy of the bin. Ok I should have known better but the Pumpkin at Plymouth is OK. I have never had a sausage that didn't have any flavour before, I tossed it in the bin. Coffee was weak but hot. Yeah shabby! It doesn't need to he be this poor.
Bekah is the best. Always polite and friendly.
Shannon was helpful and made a great cappuccino. Thank u.
