Nice place to bowl. The staff are friendly and the lanes aren't too bad. There was a good selection of of bowling balls. Would come back again and would recommend to a friend. They gave great students discount.
It was a lovely local and cheap bowling. Used to visit every week until it shut down so I knew all the staff and they were really friendly. It is all shame they went. Meant to be a Lidil storage unit now which will just be horrible. Much rather have a bowling alley. Although they are having trouble removing the electric substation.
Cheap family fun - there's no bells and whistles, the staff are... around somewhere... But it's a nice little bowling alley with the usual arcade attached. Drinks and food are a bit pricey but where are they not? The bowling is about a fifth of the price it is anywhere else... Can't complain.
Generally a bit grimy with a student feel. On Wednesdays the price is good at a fiver to bowl from 8 until they shut. I would recommend doing so in smaller groups per lane to maximise bowling time
After visiting your bowling alley for the second time I commend you and your team and suggest you keep up the good work, especially Hannah, who on both visits made us very welcome and could not do enough to make our visit an enjoyable and memorable one. We had chosen yourself over the likes of Star City and certainly feel it was a great choice. I will definitely be returning again soon as-well as recommending your venue to other friends and family. Half the lanes were broken and out of order, the toilets were still closed must be weeks and weeks now they've been out if order and there was 1 disabled toilet for everyone to use. The state of the toilet was horrific. The staff are lovely though, couldn't fault them.
It was really poor waited half hr for a lane we already booked and then had to move Lane to accommodate some one else. toilets were mingin. The staff don't know their arse from their elbow. Never again. Hollywood bowl all day long
I went there for my birthday party and I ask the DJ to put 'cake by the ocean' on and we waited for an hour and I went back to see if he can do it again. Then he snapped at me say 'well I can't do it in two seconds can I'. I tried to explain it wasn't a big deal but he carried on bad mouthing me. I thought when people pay to go bowling and pay for food and drinks that they don't get back talk form the DJ. The worst of all when we left he gave me the most dirty look ever. It is fine to play but don't talk to the DJ
Good gameplay and plays a variety of music not just what's popular however I am lead to believe it is a family location when in all the times I have visited I have heard several swear words in the songs s maybe not the best place for kids and the food is not up to a standard I would enjoy even if it is cheap
been there 2 times in de last 6 months. first time was ok. very very cheap. last time 2wks ago the far end of the alley smelled very strongly of some bad substance, I was with my kids and I tried to complain but couldn't find any of the staff. they'd all disappeared???? waited 25 minuites and we went elsewhere.
