When I first entered the clinic with Harrison, I couldn’t walk properly due to my Achilles. Within the first session I felt confident and I had hope that I would be able to get back to full physical fitness. This was due to a specific recovery plan which Harrison had drafted for my injury. When we had a couple of set backs, he was able to adapt the exercises which helped reduce pain and discomfort. After 8 sessions I was discharged, being able to re-participate in Netball, complete the National Peaks challenge and a half marathons. Unlike other places I’ve been, my treatment wasn’t dragged out for financial gain which, and I speak for most, is frustrating when you are putting your trust in a professional. I’d 100% recommend. Thanks again Harrison.
After attending pro sports Physio for a free initial consultation which I’ve got to be honest was fantastic. Sarah did a great job of finding ways to exercise my shoulder problem and a possible route going forward for rehabilitation. Unfortunately after speaking with the reception regarding the £75 per 30 minutes session it’s just way too expensive in my opinion. Over the past 20 years I’ve seen numerous physios, chiropractors, massage therapists and I’ve never paid anything like this figure, and to think it’s just a 30 minute session. I currently see another physiotherapist who I pay £40 per session for an hour long session which gives us time for discussion regarding the shoulder injury treatment and many other exercise variations to assess how the injury is progressing. This leaves time for physical treatment and massage, then to discuss any changes going forward between the next appointment. The reason I attended the free session was to form a second opinion, but I was very much open to seeing how treatment here might be different? But, to cram this into a 30 minute session for nearly twice the prize I just can’t see how anyone can pay this. It just amazed me to think they’re charging £150 an hour. £75 for a half hour session. Or to offer a 10 session plan to bring the price down to £65 per session. Unfortunately they’re not reinventing Physiotherapy here, it’s just more expensive. I was once told by a chiropractor if you’re still seeing them after 6 sessions they’re just taking the money & feeding a symptom. I think they really need to look at the price structure a little bit more. They’re offering good services and the therapist's look like they’re doing a fantastic job but it’s just overpriced in my opinion. Thank you for the free consultation. Sarah at Prosport Physio was fantastic at providing support and guidance on my lead up to the London Marathon. As a first time Marathoner I've been asking a lot of my body but for each niggle, Sarah had advice on both strengthening and preventative exercises delivered in a super supportive way. Thank you.
I went to see Harrison for a knee problem after causing an injury with speed training. I was hoping to run Manchester marathon in April 2024. Harrison was great with exercises and building up my hip muscle and Achilles. He identified my right hip was not very strong and not giving me the level of support I needed when running. He gave clear advice and loaded up each exercise. Within 4 weeks there was a massive improvement. I’ve no hesitation in recommending Harrison. Professional , polite and focused.
ProSport, in particularly Harrison, helped me thorough a tough patch when I had some serious issues with my Knee, calf and hamstring while training for the Manchester marathon. If it wasn't for Harrison and his expertise and training plans I doubt I would have made it to the start line, let alone complete it. Also the aftercare with a thorough sports massage to ease the aches and pains was most helpful.
Sarah at Prosport Physiotherapy is fantastic! She has been treating me for a running injury for a while now and, with her help and persistence I’m finally hoping to do the Rob Burrow marathon in May. She really cares about her clients and is thorough and thoughtful in the care she provides. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
I visited ProSport Physio after seriously damaging my knee and leg. From the outset Harrison was fantastic. The first session he found out what I wanted to achieve and over the weeks taught me to build up my strength with exercises each week. I can now walk up and down stairs, swim and cycle and walk pain free most of the time. He always knew what to do next and gave me a link to the exercise videos to do at home. Harrison is very polite and friendly and put me at ease and I am very glad I chose this physio. I would highly recommend him.
Harrison and Sarah have been extremely supportive and crucial in enabling me to better manage my knee injury pain through physiotherapy. It’s obvious they care about their clients. Very professional and welcoming staff members on the whole, would highly recommend! :
I’ve visited ProSport Physiotherapy on numerous occasions when I have had either sports sprained ankle, torn calf or work related injuries back injury. With their knowledge and expertise they have had me back to full fitness with no relapses. This has been a major benefit to me as a self employed gas engineer. And I am also able to continue playing football and go running. I would highly recommend.
Having changed Bupa provided physio to ProSport I couldn't be more thrilled with the outcome. The progress, knowledge and capabilities of my physio Harrison has rectified my issues far quicker than. I had anticipated. Excellent service, with plenty of tools and techniques available on site to support recovery. Would highly recommend
