I happened upon North Light Physio by chance and I'm so glad I did! Chris has always managed to 'fix me',with a combination of manipulation and exercises. I've never felt pressured to have more appointments than necessary and he's always friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend him and I pretty much have to all my friends and family.
I visited Chris with a very painful shoulder injury caused playing cricket. As a Yorkshire CC preferred Physiotherapist, Chris quickly identified the cause and put in place a course of exercises together with physiotherapy sessions, which rectified the issue in 6 weeks. Thanks for your help Chris!
Went to see Chris, due to a long term shoulder and neck issue. Really helpful treatment and exercises to manage the problem. It feels so much better. I would not hesitate to recommend his services to anyone with physiological pain issues.
I cannot thank Chris enough for his adept physiotherapy support and the guidance that he has provided me. As a result of a car accident in August 2015 I was left with multiple injuries, including: - Compound fracture of tibia and fibula treated with an Ilizarov frame for 6 months - Dislocated knee - Depressed fracture of the medial tibial plateau - Ruptured ACL/PCL/LCL/PLC and posterior capsule - Popliteus muscle injury - Broken Talus on both ankles I was initially informed by Doctors that I may never walk again due to the severity of my injuries. When I first began Physiotherapy with Chris I was in a wheelchair and only able to hop on one leg for a short distance with a Zimmer frame. Chris has provided me with a detailed understanding of my injuries and has given me exercises and techniques to improve them, explaining how each exercise works on the damaged areas. His knowledge and expertise has been unquestionable and invaluable. I have been supported and reassured during my recovery and motivated to push myself yet not over do it. I have been given clear direction and any queries have been answered with great patience and understanding. The outcome thus far is beyond all expectations, I am now walking and able to do a range of exercises that I never imagined I would achieve. My healing has been remarkable and I believe this is a result of the exceptional Physiotherapy provided. I cannot express how happy I am with the results and I would highly recommend North Light Physiotherapy! I am forever grateful.
I had been struggling with knee pain whilst running for nearly a year before it got so bad that it was affecting my day to day life after each run for a significant amount of time. Whilst running was something i could do although I would suffer for it afterwards squatting even with body weight never mind under load was nigh on impossible. I finally decided i had to see a physio and get some help and after reading the reviews on the internet decided to get in touch with North Light Physio and was introduced to Chris Liversidge. My experience with Chris has been fantastic over the course of around 3 months with a visit every 2 to 3 weeks I was given a rehabilitation program that reduced the load on my knees to allow them to recover without incurring any significant fitness drop from what i can tell. I am now back out running with my running friends on a regular basis and for the first time I can ever remember doing full depth squats under load! Thanks Chris although I hope i don't have to see you again if I will be back if i do need to see a physio in future.
I visited Chris with a shoulder problem that had been bothering me for many months. Chris was very methodical in his approach and was quickly able to determine what the problem was. Following some ‘hands on’ shoulder manipulation a programme of exercise was put in place along with a follow up appointment. Chris explained how the exercise programme would help and also spent time to talk about the mental approach to managing physical pain and discomfort. As a result I am pleased to have seen a significant improvement in my condition. Thanks very much Chris.
A brilliant service all round. Chris was quickly able to quickly identify my injury and get me set up with the exercises I needed. He also helped me to understand some of physics and physiology behind how my body was responding. I would highly recommend Northlight to anyone.
Visited Chris two months ago with hamstring problem.I explained that over the years they never seemed to fully recover. Chris identified that it was probably a strengthening of the muscles and a retraining of the neuro pain sensors which was needed and it all seemed to make sense when he explained it to me. 6 weeks of progressive strength training and stretching and all seems well. The explanation and reasoning have been worth their weight in gold - not much hands on treatment this time but it wasnt needed. Nice guy and 1st class service I would definitely use Chris again
After visiting a number of physiotherapists who couldn't get to the root of my running injury, I arrived to Chris at North Light Physiotherapy Associates in a bit of a panic and with only three weeks to go before the Paris Marathon 2016. After one 60 minute appointment with Chris, a tweak to my gait, and a new strength training programme, I managed a pain free 32km training run and successfully completed the marathon. This was quite remarkable when bearing in mind that I had not been able to run further than 10km for quite some time. Chris was generous with his knowledge and time and has taken a caring interest in my progress. I highly recommend North Light Physiotherapy Associates without hesitation.
Chris Liversedge has been brilliant over the last six months helping me with my recovery after major shoulder surgery. With his help I have managed to regain over 90% of my strength and movement in my right arm/shoulder. Chris helped me focus and build confidence in myself and push beyond what I thought was possible. Excellent gym facility too. I highly recommend this physiotherapist.
