At ProMotion Physiotherapy we are passionate about helping people return to activity following injury and episodes of pain. Whether you are returning to elite sport or simply want to get back to normal daily activities, we can help.

Our expert physiotherapists treat a wide variety of conditions including back pain, shoulder pain, knee pain and sports related injuries. Our clinic has a dedicated rehabilitation area giving us the space to get you moving better, feeling better and back on track to a healthy lifestyle.

With over 25 years experience between us working in Elite Sport, Private Practice and the NHS we are a small team with big ambitions to get you moving again.

Following a bad knee injury while skiing a few years ago, and keen to get back on the slopes this season (2018), I received a recommendation to attend ProMOTION Physiotherapy via my gym.  

Owen carried out a detailed assessment of my knee and tailored a number of exercises to help me get back on my skis.  In addition, Owen was able to recommend a suitable brace for additional support.

The service I received was excellent, very friendly and professional. Without Owen's guidance, there is no way I would have been ready to get back up the mountains this year. For anyone in need of a physiotherapist, I would certainly recommend contacting ProMOTION Physiotherapy.

My wife and I have done pilates for a number of years. We have had a few experienced teachers along the way and find that Lisa is one of the best. Her classes are held in a modern studio with a very relaxing atmosphere. The classes are small so very personal which is great rather than just being a "number" in a big class. This means you get personal attention and makes sure that all the exercises are done properly and well supervised. Although Lisa has a quiet and relaxing manner, she still manages to give each member of the class a good , enjoyable and varied workout. We would highly recommended this Pilates class.

Owen has been my physio for the last few years, helping me regain both strength and confidence after a back injury. I started going along to pilates with Lisa when their new clinic opened, and have really appreciated the way she brings in her knowledge and experience to tailor exercises to suit the specific needs of those in the class. I can't recommend the clinic highly enough. In fact, I think I've passed on the link to their website to everyone around me who has mentioned any aches, pains or an interest in pilates! A great team with great results and good sense of humour along the way.

I've been attending Pilates classes here for last eight weeks or so. The instructor Lisa is brilliant. The studio is great too. Can't recommend highly enough.

Owen has been my go to Physio in Edinburgh for the last 5years. With his wealth of knowledge and experience he has helped me back to full fitness on numerous occasions. I wouldn't want to see any other Physio and I would highly recommend to anyone. ProMotion is a great studio and the perfect place for you to get back on track
