I've hired from them now twice, August last year and again this August. On both occasions I have found the standard of customer service extremely lacking at best. I've rented the largest Motorhome they do a swift kontiki, luxury 6 berth with twin axles costing £1500.00/week. Wasn't too concerned about the price as I realised I was renting one of the best Motorhomes around but this soon lost its appeal when I drove it from their depot on my way home when I drove around the roundabout and realised that part of the undercarriage of the vehicle had slid out and almost clipped the vehicle next to me. I immediately returned to the depot to inform them of the problem which surprisingly didn't seem to concern them and simply said "oh it's just one of the broken storage compartments coming loose", we'll strap it up and it should be okay. Alarmingly I didn't get any type of apology from the management even though this incident was already eating into my 7 day hire and delaying me from setting off on holiday. Upon arrival in sunny Cornwall I was setting up and realised that the wind out awning which we were intending to use whilst eating out was broken and disappointingly could not be used. I decided to get out the table and chairs I'd requested to be included in the motorhome but found that they hadn't been put in. Annoyed about this I contacted Priory who again just fobbed me off saying that I probably hadn't asked for them to be included and there was nothing they could do about the awning. After holiday went to drop off but we're slightly later than the 11o'clock deadline due to traffic and we were greeted with" Your late". I asked whether they were going to offer me any form of compensation for the damage and missing items but was met with a blunt, "no, sorry". Despite this I rented the same vehicle again this year and yet again found issues straight away after leaving depot the oil lights were flashing saying oil change needed. Returned to depot and told it's nothing it is just the service light hasn't been taken off..Indicators not working properly due to a damaged off side mirror indicator. Upon arrival found yet again no chairs had been added even after I requested them and a constant leaking toilet area which ran into the seating area and required a towel continuely mopping up the stream of water which Priory stated was due to them jet washing it. Outside lights not working properly, sky light in lounge couldn't be opened as it was strapped shut due to it being broken and not repaired. Side awning leg damaged and hanging off only being held on by zip tie which meant awning couldn't be used again. Unfortunately for us whilst travelling down the M5 Concrete debris in road causing vehicles to swerve hit the front nearside door cill and ripped off plastic trims but luckily missing front wheel which could of caused us to have a blow out and potentially crashing on a very busy motorway. Upon returning the vehicle we were astonished at the attitude of the staff there including the owner as they didn't seem to be concerned about whether everyone was okay after incident not bothering to ask but instead commenting on how much it was going to cost and how difficult it was going to be to obtain replacement parts. The rear of the motorhome was already damaged prior to collection and repaired and due to the debri had suffered another chunk of fibreglass being broken off. Staff comments "that's going to need the whole back panel replacing which will be very expensive". We have lost our £1500.00 deposit which is bad enough but left there feeling deflated after our holiday and the customer services we received left a definate sour taste in our mouths. We definitely will not be hiring from them again.
This place is great Super efficient, nothing was to much trouble we had a great experience hiring a van to help us relocate from London to Accrington "Cymone" is the most friendliest and accommodating person we have met so far in our short time here we will definitely be hiring again maybe a camper van next to take us away for the weekend but yes highly recommended , reasonable prices vans are clean and ready to go when needed especially in short notice see you guys again soon STEVE and BARRY and Scott the driver
Can honestly say we will definately be hiring from these guys again. The staff were great, friendly and very helpful in showing us how things worked. There was the black book with pictures which was very easy to read and understand. We were able to have an early pick up at no extra cost. We hired a motor home Swift Escaoe 164 for our trip round the North Coast 500 Scotland and had absolutely no problems whatsover. It was spotless on collection and everything worked great. No problems at all. Already planning our next trip.
Great hire company. Booked for 9 nights this year and the service was great from picking the van up to resolving a minor issue we had with the heating that was quickly resolved by a phone call. Definitely look at booking again next year. Thanks Wendy and her team. Marc Bridges
Great experience, Fiona and the team made us feel incredibly welcome when we initially came to view the vans. We've used other Motorhome companies previously and in comparison UGO go above and beyond. The little touches of a hoover, Netflix for the kids or Adults even a bottle opener were all there for us. Genuinely can't recommend UGO enough, we'll be back again next year and the year after and after etc etc Thank you again for helping us create such amazing memories for us as a family. Simone was the most professional down to earth person to deal with made you feel at ease easy explaining things the vehicle hire was perfect and immaculate inside and out the assistant however was just plain and said nothing think the boss should lighten the load only kidding the whole group were fantastic well worth the visit the price and everything eles was well worth it well done

I have three positive things to say about our experience of hiring from Priory. The motorhome was very clean and the vehicle itself was nice and they offered us an early pick up, which was great. But, I cannot recommend them to a friend. Our hire was a re-book from March because of lockdown. I contacted them at the end of June to re-arrange, and was told I would receive an email confirming the re-book. Nothing arrived so early in September I contacted them again to ask for confirmation of the booking and a confirmation email was duly received. Then I contacted them again to ask if I needed me to re-submit our proof of address etc. Yes please they said as it needed to be within 3 months of the hire. No problem, documentation emailed - I asked the person I emailed to confirm all was in order, they did not reply. So I telephoned to check all was in order, yes it was I was informed, all ID check complete. Apparently the Cheshire branch deals with this side of things. So my husband went to collect the vehicle on Friday, to find the documentation that I had sent to Priory Cheshire had not been forwarded to Lancashire depot. No problem you'd think so I re-emailed it, but for some reason it didn't arrive. I telephoned Cheshire to ask them to contact Lancashire to confirm all the ID was sorted, the female member of staff I spoke to was at best abrupt, and bordering on rude. My husband left minus the motorhome after a frustrating lengthy wait to try to sort out the ID - he was there maybe 90 minutes. 20 minutes later I get a phone call from the lady at Lancashire to say my emails had just arrived, so my husband returned and collected the vehicle. But the handover was poor, no explanation about opening the toilet or that the microwave wouldn't work unless we were on hook up. No bike rack - on their website it says all their motorhomes come with bike racks, ours didn't. The lady at handover said our model didn't have a bike rack but it did, it was just broken, so had been removed. Which was a shame as we wanted to go cycling. On handover the lady mentioned the bed was broken but the repair had been botched, as the necessary parts could not be sourced, but actually it wasn't fixed. We managed to prop it up. When my husband set off, it only had 28 miles worth of fuel in the tank, which was disappointing and actually given the location from the branch to where we were going it was a problem. The handbook had been not been checked, it had been dipped in water, and the photos on it could not be viewed.
Emma and the team very helpful and friendly. No problems with using this company. Just travelled from Manchester all round Scotland and back over 1,000 mile trip, no issues with the Zefiro 690 motorhome. Clean and tidy when received. The only advice I would share with people proposing to rent the bigger vehicles is try and get some practice driving a bigger vehicle other than a car, or be very careful when driving it. My husband is a HGV driver so the motorhome was a 'baby' compared to the vehicles he drives, so he found it a breeze to drive. Although it was somewhat a busman's holiday for him. Happy camping!!!
I have not used a lot of CamperVan hire companies so did not know what to expect, they were very kind to tell us that due to the campervan we had originally booked had been sold, we had a free upgrade, this was done by email a few days before our holiday, feel it would have been great if this email had mentioned that we need two utility bills for each driver, as this would have saved me a journey back home to find said utility bills. Think we may have caught the young lady on reception on a bad day. The guy in the yard could not have been more helpful, making us feel very comfortable. Unfortunately our holiday did not go without incidence, with a stone thrown up by a oncoming car hitting windscreen and cracking the windscreen, this is not covered by the insurance and so comes out of the £750 deposit, that is fine, but feel that having dropped the van back on Thursday afternoon, some one would ring and say what money they would take out of our account, the first in new, was when i checked my bank statement the following week and found they had taken out £321, legally nothing wrong!!!
