Huge Garden centre, with mini shops inside. Large selection of a variety of pots and plants for your every whim.Spacious cafe in the back. Good place to get unique gifts for all seasons. Staff are friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Large car park too. Definitely worth a look around.
Superb place. Glen was very helpful. And the place is absolutely stunning. Can wait to go back in the Spring 2023 to see the new plantations replacing the current clovers.
A lovely place to visit! Nice selection of outdoor and indoor plants. There is a coffee shop as well.
Lovely garden centre with friendly staff who always greet you with a smile : I mostly visit when I'm buying things for my aquarium, because they have a great selection of fish, plants and accessories. But the staff working in that department are down to earth and so knowledgeable, you can tell they are passionate fishkeepers themselves. I've been to loads of garden centres in the area and I have never seen such a varied and well looked after houseplant selection as what Prior Park has. Also, it's a great place if you're in search for a present for someone, whatever their age, as they have an array of good quality food, housewares, gifts, children's books and toys. No doubt I'll be visiting here for many years to come, you've got continuous custom from myself and my family. It was only last week I mentioned to family members that I needed to visit to get supplies for a new aquarium I'm setting up and everyone wanted to come along!
The garden centre is a nice place to go to fulfil Your needs. The plants are healthy and well looked after, along with other things like pots and equipment. The farm shop is very pleasant with very affordable and tasty food! A lemon at co-op cost 1 quid, at farm shop 45 pence The cafe is also lovely. The staff are helpful and kind. However, I do have a bone to pick with the pet shop. They take good care of their animals it’s just they are kept in crazy small “enclosures” for moths at a time and promote sales of inadequate cages and equipment that are harmful or too small for the animals they sell. For example: my experiment from the prior park garden centre is often the animals I bought presented obsessive boredom issues like bar chewing which damaged their teeth and gives other health issues. I believe this is because of the time spent in a tiny glass box for prolonged lengths of time. Additionally they had very short life spans, and early onset health issues. My rodents from a good quality pets at home lasted years longer than the ones from here.
Great garden centre. Perfect for Christmas trees and stocking filler gifts. Plus the member of staff looking after the trees kindly let us open a wrapped tree so we could see it before buying, top service
We arrived at your cafe for an afternoon cup of tea. There was a sign which said 'wait here to be seated'. We were not acknowledged by any staff member so after a while we approached the counter to say we would like to order tea. We were told it was table service so we sat down and waited. The table we sat at was unstable and in poor repair. Still, no one came although the cafe did not seem busy. In the end we decided to leave. I can’t believe your service! Not one of your staff were interested in paying customers who would have liked to order a cup of tea! We are very disappointed. This place does not get our vote. As the saying goes, if in doubt get out and go somewhere else.
Visited the Pet Centre and had awesome friendly service from a young lady called Kirsty. Wanted some advice on dry dog food as been having problems with settling my rescued dogs diet & skin condition. Kirsty was pleasant, professional & very knowledgeable throughout the conversation. She recommended Natures Way, told me how good it was. My dog skin condition & stool has improved so much since the two weeks he has been on it. So thank you kindly to Kirsty for the advice. So much so I thought I give the cat range a go too, and yes the cat loves it : Will definitely visit again :
We like to visit garden centres all over the place,I look them up on google maps make sure they have a cafe and off we go....Today the 13th of November it was here,we were not disappointed for a small garden centre it is jam packed with goodies to suit everyone and at this time of year of course they have all the lovely Xmas decoration....as well as all your gardening paraphernalia there is a lovely selection of gifts and a small pet shop area with fish,reptiles,and other cuddly little fury creatures....There is also a small cafeteria up some steps plus a lift for wheelchairs and baby buggies ect....With a farm shop area with shelves stocked full of delicious food stuffs....This place definitely a nice place to visit..
