Dreadful place to eat. You'd think by the amount of empty seats they have, they'd be able to cater to your needs sufficiently. Not a chance. Very poor service indeed. Absolutely no idea how this establishment managed to get 5 stars from other reviews. One to avoid
Called into this establishment on Sunday 17th April to grab a quick drink and a meal gentleman behind the bar was more interested in chatting up a young blonde woman at the end of the bar . We stood in front of them both and waited patiently but was totally ignored. After a couple of minutes with not even eye contact we left and spent our money elsewhere we will not be returning anytime soon
Nice vibe, staff v-friendly...we turned up 5mins before kitchen close staff was in happy mode...it's cool! Location good, easy to spot... outdoor seating, French windows reckon it be good in the summer... Keep the good work up Z-axis you will be rewarded....
Always delicious. The breakfasts are a little different from your typical fry up. Staff friendly and courteous and they have deals on some weeknights. Definitely worth a visit.
Zazu's has a couple of restaurants in Bristol now. They were originally on Stokes Croft, then moved to Clifton Village, and then they settled on Gloucester Road...now they have opened this second Kitchen on North Street. This is great news for South Bristolians as this is a quality set up. They offer lovely brunches and a great lunch menu, superb coffee and a classy supper menu too. It always feels like a treat eating there and yet it isn't pretentious at all.
Paid £7.95 for a 'crab salad': no word of a lie, it was literally 1 lettuce leaf, with the smallest amount of crab in it that I've seen. I'm all for dishes that look pretty, but the plate decorations were almost the only thing on the plate
Good menu, ercol furniture, relaxed atmosphere. Been here 3x times, service is delayed and food is just ok, a bit greasy and not great taste.
Surreal behaviour by waitress: After not giving back the 2GBP change and keeping it for herself, she ran away from me literally when I went to the counter to claim my money back and left it for her workmate. Surreal, never seen anything quite like it!
Fantastic food, especially brunch, and friendly/decent staff. Good in the summer with plenty of outside seats
