Came in as one of he cheapest motorbike insurance quotes, not the absolute cheapest but had everything I needed. Extras if required did not seem too exorbitant. Process online via compare site was good and quote conversion was straightforward. As a new customer was quite a lot of paperwork you get to read through but Upload of documents to validate was easy process. Be interesting to see how much they load price on next years renewal.
Otherwise  good experience and good price.

When changing my bike, I did the price comparison thing, I Went back to Principal and they got me an even better price than the comparison price. I wanted to stay with Principal because when I needed to make a claim in 2016 they sorted everything and my claim was settled very quickly and without quibble. Great service!

When I was getting quotes for my bike insurance, other companies just had (basic questions to ask/tick boxs) 
When I had my quote from principal insurance,  the guy asked what security features I had and then he talked to the underwriters and got a quote. I was very impressed with this as he wasn't just there doing his job but he whent and did the extra mile.
With my experience with them so far I will give them five + stars and will recommend them.

so far so good. Found through compare the market cheapest quote. Docs sent immediately. So far excellent, but can not give final verdict until i had longer experience

Pretty straight forward to take out insurance from Principal...very quick to get things started can't fault them in anyway.
