This must be thee only park I have ever been too that you can either just sit near thee lake and relax or even go for a nice walk .its has a lot if children parks for thee kiddywinks and you can feed thee geese and ducks without worrying they will bite your hand off lol and because I suffer with anxiety it so helps relax my mind .
Amazing park. Little mention for the tennis field there. It's free.
A wonderful park and right on my doorstep. Shame about people who can't find a bin or take their rubbish home. Swans, herons, ducks and coots on the lake. A lovely walk and good play areas for children. Playground: 2 play grounds and also tennis courts. Dog-friendliness: Good park for dog walking. Plenty of poop bins for those who are responsible dog owners.
Lovely old park, underused due to its proximity to Sefton Park Plenty of wildlife to sit and admire The walk round the lake is beautiful Undulating scenery, not just open green fields Tennis courts Children's playground Areas of the park left wild to help wildlife Parkrun....a free 6k run open to all takes place every Saturday at 9am here Charming park with something for everyone
Fantastic place calm and relaxing great place to take a friend and enjoy the beautiful sites
Overall nice park, feels quite safe during daytime with plenty of joggers and families. Still, I wouldn't recommend it for solo women/girls during the very early or late hours of the day as there are plenty of nooks, corners, and even houses at the edges of the park that someone vulnerable can be made to disappear into. Because the area around it is a bit 'hit and miss' you can see the ocasional dodgy guy, so I don't trust or my wife this park 100% just yet. Needs more gentrification. I'm giving it 4 instead of 3 stars as there is currently a clear strong effort being made to the lake area to improve it and make it prettier/nicer, I assume. Some areas, fencing and roads are a bit rundown, so not 5 star material, but the effort investment is noticeable. The kids area seems safe with plenty of overly energetic kids stress-testing the swings and other 'attractions' on offer, and parents seem overall happy and unconcerned expressions on their faces whilst their kids do their best to accidentally injure themselves, so kudos to the 'toys' maintenance team. Plenty of open spaces to have your dogs run around crazy and dragging you with them. Looks great when it snows, looks even better during the cherry blossom season. Very happy to have this park 3 minutes away. No complaints yet.
A well designed and kept park with plenty of room for exercise you and the dogs
A nice little park located pretty close to Sefton Park and is perhaps overlooked by its larger neighbour. A good place to go for a family walk.
Nice tennis courts
Very calm and quiet. If you want to go to chill out with spouse or just a friend this is the place to go.
