absolutely lovely evening for my daughter's 16th birthday. The service was amazing, with our main waitress absolutely lovely. And the fact we could order drinks and pay at the table separately as we were ordering was brilliant and really helped with controlling the bill for everyone. Considering there was 31 of us the food was out really organised and warm and everyone loved it. Couldn't praise enough really and she had a really lovely evening with all her family and friends.
Honestly....shameful!!! It's a chain so they should be spot on. Booked a table and tbf it was quiet at 8pm on a Saturday night! The service was great but the food....shameful!! Ordered the antipasti board and it arrived uninspired and borderline thrown on!! Now for the horror mains: Lobster and crab ravioli: pasta was raw, as in translucent raw!!! Never a good sign with fish Seabass with knoggi and lobster bisque: a beautiful piece of fish arrived dry and with no sauce at all. Asked where the bisque was and it went away and came back with an anaemic green water over it. Even the waitress Said " I wouldn't eat that" they'd clearly poured a veg broth over the fish to represent some kind of bisque!! I'm assuming as it was 2030 on a Saturday that the chef assumed the consumer would be drunk and not notice....wrong!!! Only paid for the wine £35 the waitress was lovely and felt really embarrassed to be serving this up and wiped the rest as even she said was inedible!!! When you have a limited menu and can't even get that right it's a worry. Won't be coming again!! Waitress was 5* tho
Great food in a great location! Calamari was meaty - excellent! Rigatoni with salmon was tasty- Pasta nicely cooked. Pepperoni pizza has lots of Pepperoni on it. Marina view is superb . Very pleasant atmosphere. I had the blood orange lemonade drink . It was very refreshing. Loved it! Parking is free!
I'm a frequent customer at Prezzo, because I really like it. I had come to this Prezzo last month and as always I order the spaghetti carbonara. This time A carbonara arrived at my table that I had never seen before, liquid liquid... I spoke to the manager and they made me another carbonara which came again liquid, but in the end the manager explained that they had changed the product they use to make the cream and that it would be like this in all the Prezzo’s now, I think it's very strange and honestly it doesn't taste good to eat a carbonara like that... in the end we ordered a dessert, a lotus biscoff cheesecake with banana, when it arrived at the table there was no banana... and we could see the table on the side with the same dessert but with banana. anyway, we were not lucky this time…
Had a lush evening at Prezzo tonight. We rang and booked the night before and they were really accommodating towards our dog. We sat outside overlooking the marina. Our waitress Iionela was lovely and brought out water for our dog without us even asking. One of us is Gluten Intolerant and they have plenty of gluten free options. The manger took our order and was really lovely aswell. We were even brought out some chicken for our dog which was so generous. We enjoyed our food and the service was very accommodating towards our dog. We popped in before getting the ferry and aren't local otherwise we'd definitely be back. Thank you to the team! Dietary restrictions: Really accommodating for dietary restrictions with a seperate menu and the manager deals with everything to ensure it is correct.
We arrived at Prezzo on a Friday night, expecting a fun and vibrant atmosphere. While the restaurant was only about a third full, we were surprised by the incredibly slow service. It took a full 35 minutes for a rather uninterested server to even take our drink order. Then, to add insult to injury, another 30 minutes passed before our drinks arrived. The food itself was a mixed bag. The pizza was delicious, with a perfectly crispy crust and flavorful toppings. However, my wife's lasagna was a major disappointment. The portion size was tiny, especially considering the hefty price tag. To make matters worse, it came completely bare – no salad, no bread, no side dish of any kind. Feeling frustrated and neglected, we decided to skip dessert and drinks altogether. We ended up heading elsewhere to salvage our evening. While the pizza was good, the overall experience at Prezzo was severely hampered by the inattentive service and overpriced, underwhelming food. Unfortunately, we won't be returning anytime soon.
An impromptu Wednesday night out with friends including a "special needs" Coeliac me. They fitted us in immediately at prime time and service was excellent despite being busy. Excellent range of GF starters and mains. Only criticism is lack of GF deserts and the price of Diet Coke bottles. Would recommend and will go back again. Thank you. Dietary restrictions: Excellent menu for gluten free - loads of starters and mains. Limited desert choice but overall very good. Parking: Port Solent - excellent free parking
I've eaten here before mid-week and it was fine. Saturday night was not a good experience. Restaurant was very busy and the staff couldn't cope with the volume. Food was brought to the table for different people at different times. Some people had finished their food when some hadn't even received their food. Long wait for a lasagne that eventually came out so burnt they tried to hide it with a load of parmesan on the top. We sent it back and the next one was fine new one didn't have all the parmesan on top so it was obvious they used the parmesan to hide the burnt top on the previously one. The waitress didn't have the best attitude and we were charged for additional dishes we didn't order. On the plus side, some dishes were very nice and they managed our dietary requirements really well. I think they should not have accepted so many bookings when they clearly couldn't cope with the numbers.
All portions very small compared to what you get at Zizzi's and other restaurants. Friends were not impressed with portion sizes, they were more children portions. Will not be eating here again. H SinghFood: 2/5
