I've always thought this pet shop was adequate. Their stock is great in some areas and lacking in others. I think staff do their job but that's all can be said they are certainly not happy to be there. If you aren't bothered about leaving happy or anything you just want something and don't particularly care. Then this shops for you. But if you want to have helpful friendly staff who make you leave a happy fulfilled and ready to return customer I'd go elsewhere.

1 star because I EVENTUALLY got to see a leopard gecko. Came in to the store to have a look at the leopard geckos as I am looking around for one in good health. Came in and was immediately asked if this was my first gecko I said I have looked after geckos but own other reptiles, my bearded dragon. I have owned my dragon for 2+ years and was given a 30 minute lecture on how to look after him without the staff member even wanting to see how he was cared for (tried to show him a picture of how healthy he was but he just ignored it and carried on) Now I appreciate the knowledge but all of this I already knew and some of the advice was just questionable. I came in to see a leopard gecko and get some advice about them NOT to be lectured about my already well looked after pet. We finally got to see a leopard gecko.. all 5 seconds of it and he chased it around the tank which me and mum told him not to stress it as the tail could fall off. After reading the reviews on here I'm not surprised to see this particular staff member has done the same to me to countless other people. Won't be coming back as I was felt like this staff member was trying to trip me up and make me feel small with a 30 minute lecture which left me feeling exhausted and deflated. You are losing customers because of him!

Pigs ears, lambs tails, trotters and a few types of necks for the dogs to enjoy. I like it here because: I like how they have most animals but the ones I like are there like the birds, fish and reptiles in abundance. They have piranhas in at the moment quite big for about 25quid each which seems reasonable for there size. Quite a few spiders but best of all budgies, finches all types, canaries and one cock ateal lol. Nest boxes are cheap and all bits and pieces. It's quite a big shop so you won't be disappointed if you need to get out of the rain for a walk about. The only thing I would change is the reptile bit needs a bit more filling up. Loads of dead space there. Happy with this place and will go again kiss kiss Steve

the shop is nice. but the quality and the health of the koi is rough. suck a shame as it was a great place.

Pop into Prestwood Petzone frequently for Pond supplies, and always have a look at the fish, especially the Koi, in the hope of seeing nicely marked fish......Along comes 2018 and despite notices saying fish are arriving and because off cold spell they haven't yet arrived, almost May and still the tanks are poorly stocked, come on Petzone what is going on? R.I.P Kevin. ( KOI)
