I was just passing with the dog and thought I’d pop in for quick lunch on a Tuesday midday and I have to say I’m so glad I did. This is a fantastic pub with a large multi level garden, very dog friendly. Staff are so welcoming and friendly. Great choice of beers and the “Nourish Bowl” with chicken was unexpectedly delicious! I say “unexpectedly” because I’m trying to eat more healthily and often that means taking the disappointing option… but not today!. I will definitely be back!
Lovely local gastropub punching wells above its weight for food! Friendly service and relaxed laid back vibe. Recommend!
Smashing service, delicious food, mulled wine and a warm welcome. Dog friendly. What more do you need? Haven't tried Sunday lunch yet but believe it's excellent. A real community pub.
First visit to this pub. Surprised at how big it was. Pleasant decor. Roast dinners were lovely -hot, and good portion. One not so good point, is that they don't sell 'proper' beer, only lagers and IPA's; not even bottles of beer, for those who prefer them.
Beautiful spot for a bowl of chips and a pint. Very dog friendly as there were more people with dogs here than there were without. Staff were all really friendly and the chips were great. Top marks to all who work there
Pop in with my friends after a Jiu jitso competition and We were starving, great Gastro Pub and the beer was beautifully cold.
Been here many times and it is always superb! Great atmosphere, wide selection of drinks and friendly staff. Honestly the Sunday roasts are fantastic.
Had a really lovely afternoon here. The pub was warm and friendly and the roast was one of the best I've had in Brighton recently! Would recommend and will definitely be back.
Good value cocktails early on a Friday evening at a fiver a pop. We had a daiquiri and a mojito which were ok. The inside bar was pretty empty although I could see plenty out in the garden. The computer jukebox is a good idea although I couldn't get it working on my phone.
This local pub looks and feels like a proper pub. Lovely high ceilings and fab Sunday roast. Great ale selection. Covered and heated outdoors.
