Excellent traditional pub with perfectly maintained real ales and beers. Great atmosphere, friendly bar staff and excellent management from Emma and Paul.. Its what a pub should be!
A breath of fresh air in the city, regulars are a friendly bunch, pub has been refurbished so its nice and fresh and Emma N Paul are always ready to smile the bar staff are excellent Highly recommended

Refurb has certainly made a difference, still a good choice of beers from our largest brewer Harveys. The barman was a cheerful chap too.
It’s very traditional, has good beer, friendly staff and is always welcoming. Great prices, too. Highly recommended for those avoiding hipster culture.
