First time coming here for food and went for the sharing roast board. As you can see there was a lot to choose from beef, pork belly and roast chicken and definitely didn't go hungry. Everything was very fresh and tasty, if I had to find fault I would say the chicken was a bit dry, but it didn't take away from the overall experience. All this was only £16 each between the two of us. Highly recommend!
Had the most loveliest Mothers day lunch here. My Son treated me I wasn’t feeling like a huge roast so we opted for lots of small dishes. Delicious food and just enough for the two of us. Staff where really nice and will defiantly be coming back :
It's a nice pub in great area for gay pride! The food was quite lacking on the day I went but it doesn't mean it was always like that & they do Table service too with a QR code, so definitely go if you get a chance. Drinks were great!
We had a wonderful Christmas dinner at the park view today. Ray was absolutely fantastic. Two of our guests were late and ray ensured our table would be held to allow our guests to eat with us at a later time. He provided us with snacks and good company while we waited for our guests. The pub is dog friendly which is fabulous and the food was divine! As a vegan I often find the vegan option is the most underwhelming meal at the table, but my other guests all commented on how lovely my 3 courses looked. We loved every moment and will be back again to try some dishes off the the usual menu! Thank you
Does not have great reviews overall. I tried this pub. 1st thing that was poor: service. The staff who took the order didn't bother with the usual hello's and thank you's. Just rude really. Very easy thing to do, but a can't be bothered attitude! I ordered warm milk to go with my coffee and to complement my meal. An oversight - it wasn't warm but very cold. When I mentioned I had asked clearly for warm milk, I did not even receive an apology. The food was just about below average - very expensive for what it was and lacked any salad. Wasn't that enjoyable despite the very high price. The pub/ restaurant itself is nice - it looks nicely decorated. I might say it would be nice if the fire itself was working, or had an artificial fire - easy thing to do. But don't be fooled - by looking nice, don't expect to enjoy your meal there! I like the fact its dog friendly though - that is nice!
Popular local pub near Preston Park Station with a good selection of real ales. Although I wasn't eating the food looked really impressive so will have to return. Best to book in advance I was told if you want Sunday lunch.
My 9 friends and I have been going out for a Christmas meal for the last 25 years at various venues in Brighton and the Park View has been one of the loveliest! Fabulous ambiance, gorgeous food and very attentive, friendly and warm service! Thank you so much to Jade, Fay and Ray!! Marry Christmas to you all and see you next year! Xx
Gorgeous Pub! Excellent food, the small plates are a great addition to the menu. We had a great time celebrating my husband's birthday there.
I live very close by. I really love The Park view . The food was great . Kids can ,sit outside. Heaters , blankets. The staff have ALWAYS been very welcoming.what a Great lot. 25 I been going here. .would be good to it buzzing. OMG I just remembered my aunty T' wedding reception was here I was a bridesmaid, what a dress .I looked like a toilet roll Doyle. #nan.
Absolutely to die for roast at the park view. Amazing service from everyone, especially Fay and Theo. Best pub I’ve been to in a while. Garden is great summer vibes
