Despit the gardens being partially unkempt there are some awesome perfume scents for the nose that delves into the heart of the roses.
An evening walk around Preston Park isn't complete without a stroll the iconic Rose Garden . Every type of rose has its own sign to indicate what it is! I've learnt my favourite roses and aromas from many walks through here.
Lovely, but watched a couple of dog owners watch and then not pick up their dog poo. Bit sad, I wonder what could be done to help them see its a family space... Didn't let me runs run loose for fear of poo shoe!
Great fun. Was there for a 7 year old's birthday party and the kids were all fascinated. We didn't have to play any games. Awesome!
Lovely tranquil spaces to read a book or sunbathe or meet with friends. Has a decent cafe at the North end, by the pond, where you can get hot and cold drinks and some more snacky food.
Lovely garden and the pnd is a great feature, we were lucky enough to be there when the tadpoles and newts were out
Went to Rotunda coffee shop and could smell the rose garden from there, it was,amazing the scent just filled the air x x
Tennis courts are free to use before 10am, and the rose garden was the perfect place to have a sit down afterwards - lots of foot traffic, and dog friendly.
Very well maintained and the flowers and plants are beautiful year round.
