Always a lovely setting but the ham and tomato toasted sandwich a great disappointment. They just toasted the bread and stuffed processed ham and tomatoes in which cold.
Lovely park, well maintained, nice for a short walk and good open space for dogs to have a run
A gem and very Brighton. A proper amphitheatre and magnificent production next to tennis courts and swings. Highly professionally done. I have been passed the park hundreds of times and never knew the theatre was there
'The Fire Engine Park'. Nice park. Fun playground. The maze is great and the cafe does nice coffee and good food. The toilets generally seem to be clean too.
Enjoyed this little park. It IS little too. But has swings. Slides and a sand Pitt. I feel this park is more suited for younger children. But my 8 year old had enough fun to spend half an hour here. The small cafe here is really good and handy to have too
A small intimate park with shaded areas around the edges. A lovely place.
The park has a great children’s playground that is maintained well, interesting walks round the park and a tennis court that isn’t always busy and offer coaching/training if you’re beginner it’s in a group.
Dyke Road Park is bwautiful, lots of play area for the kids and lots of lovely shaded area's for family picnics, there are also a cafe that sells a variety of foods and drinks and there is a tesco express within a mins walk from the park.
If your 6 and under its fine, for such an affluent area the park is very poor, went with a 9 and 10 year old stayed long enough to eat our lunch then left to go to Saunders park
1. Love the gate, compared with Hove Park playground, kids can't get out easily, good for someone like me with 2 young kids. 2. Wish the baby swings could be more at the center, it is a bit far for my baby in the swing when my older son at the sand pit, a bit of blind spot, not easy to keep an eye on him. Hove Park is currently closed for 4 weeks during renovation. Our kids prefer Peter Pan playground but it is a big too far for us This Dyke Park is a good alternate for us nearby.
