Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Darren and Lewis at Preston Garage. After breaking down on the M25 and taking 12hrs to get home with the AA I rang the garage to ask if I could get it dropped off there for them to look at it and hopefully rectify the issue, which was unknown. I had never used them before or even knew they were there but they had great reviews. They have repaired my vehicle which has not been straightforward for them as they were putting right what another garage had done wrong, the other garage made it 100 times worse by cutting open the oil strainer causing small parts of dirt to float around the engine and causing me to have low oil pressure. The other garage is not from around here but in Gloucester where I brought the car. These two guys have been honest and upfront all the way through the repair, keeping me informed all the way. They said they had not seen an engine so clogged up as mine! However they have managed to repair and flush out the engine and put right all the other garages mistakes and I know I have my car back. I cannot recommend this garage highly enough, it’s not often you have a honest car garage that you can trust. Very professional, very knowledgeable and great communication. They will certainly have my custom from here on in. Thank you guys
My Range Rover broke down on our way to our holiday destination in Devon. Green Flag took the car and our 27’ caravan the rest of the journey. Full marks for their onward service, but no diagnosis on the fault. From there, we had to arrange for a local mechanic to fix the car. After several phone calls and being told by each and every one we would need to wait 2 weeks before any one could even look at the car, we were getting quite concerned. Then we spotted Preston Motors on google, and what a stroke of luck that was! Darren the owner? has been brilliant. Very helpful and reassuring guy. He had us back on the road within 24 hours, and being a Range Rover I was fearing the worst with the bill... no worries there either! A very fair price. I can’t recommend him enough. Well done Darren and his staff!
Great service! I booked in for a service and MOT online and got a reply from Darren within moments. He arranged the collection and delivery of my vehicle and kept me updated throughout. Would definitely recommend and will be back in the future.
Was on holiday with me and my family when suddenly there was a knocking noise further inspection the nsf shock had gone through the top mount, being a mechanic myself I knew this had to be replaced before heading home, no other garages could fit me in at all but I'm glad, as I found preston garage. Rang up and said they can get me in and quoted me a price, i knew the price of the parts and he was very fair and not ripping me off at all and honest. Got told to drop it off in the morning, dropped it off friendly guys and said ring us when itd done 2 hours later it was done! Fantastic service and speed and allowed us to continue our holiday! Thankyou guys continue what you do!
Good mot honest work done .not the garage who would rip you off RECOMMEND
After having had work done at home we went on holiday to Brixham only to find the work had been done wrong and are car was in need of a fix. I contacted around 15 local garages most of which never even got back to me and the rest would not work on our car as its a grand voyager. This garage is amazing. Asked online and got a call within a hour he then had car in next day and solved a problem we have had for months. Forget the big chains there good for nothing stick with the local independent garages. All in all great service great prices and great mechanics if it was not 2 hours away I would be back. Thanks guys now we can enjoy our holiday we'll until the storm comes.
Fantastic, trustworthy garage. Been taking my battered old Focus here for 3 years after a bad experience with another garage overcharging me for repairs. Darren and the other mechanic don't know his name! always ensure that the work is done quickly, professionally and at a reasonable price. A good garage is hard to find but I'll never be going anywhere else again!
