What a gem, we are staying at the hotel now, lovely clean rooms and 5min walk to the town and go the other way and its 5 min walk to the retail park where theres loads of shopping!!! Ideal location.
The breakfast and food in the Thyme restaurant was beautiful, red hot and well cooked.
My 5 star rating was for the staff who work at this hotel they are amazing,  we have never been to a hotel where the staff are so friendly kind and really helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them, they deserve a massive pat on the back, well done.
We will definitely be back to this hotel and recommend it to all our friends.

Room Premier Inn / Premier Inn. Dinner 1 / 5 :-(.

Small portions, poor quality food, misleading descriptions ("stack of" aparrently means 2 onion rings), and cryptic receipts when trying to understand and split bills.

Given this then I would say poor value for money. I recommend looking into alternative places to have dinner.

Comfy bed. Clean room. Nice view of canal.
A little noisy between rooms and noise transference through the door also too much. Feel like they may have skimped on noise transference solutions - some Premier Inn seem better than others for that.
Parking was £4 per car per day and there were several free spaces for us to choose from. However in summer it may not be quite so easy to park. Especially now a McDonalds is on the old 'overflow' car park. So that is a bit of extra stress/worry if thinking of staying here.

Another great Premier Inn experience.  The staff on reception were very friendly and made a lovely welcome.  We were a large party who arrived late and hadn't had dinner or made a reservation, but the manager still managed to find us a table.  Extremely comfy room.  Very pleased!

quid double/family room was excellent! Great location, lovely breakfast, easy check in and out. Definitely will revisit!
