A girlie night away with my bestie. Had a lovely time in St Andrews with her. Staff were lovely. Wee Adrian especially- took a pic of us both asking if it was a mother & daughter pic he made us chuckle. Great comfortable bed, great food too. A nice touch with a wee note in my room with a kitkat chunky beside it thanking me for the 2 rooms booking.
The Premier Inn in St Andrews a reasonable deal for someone staying in the area for golf or for the University. It's a reasonable 15 minutes walk to South Street, where the restaurants and bars start, but a tougher walk if you're going to carry clubs down to the Links. Parking is ample, and it's near M&S and Aldi, so don't worry if you've forgotten a snack or something. The rooms are clean if basic, the eating area is small. Price is the best reason to stay here rather than something closer to town center.
Amazing!nWe got the family room, and the beds are comfortable . The old lady at the desk is very kind! It's in a good area too, many supermarkets are near.
Have stayed here a few times and the staff are great. Very friendly. My only real gripe is that they have now throttled the wifi presumably to try and make you pay for the upgraded offer. It's like dial up in the 90's. Rooms are usual premier inn quality, they don't service unless you ask, and there is no bar at this one. Unless you count the breakfast room as a bar, which its not. But its a 10 min stroll to town, and the convenience of the M & S opposite is really useful.
