We had a wonderful night's stay. Rooms were super clean well stocked with everything you'd need, beds comfy and no outside noise.nThe highlight though was the breakfast. Debbie an Helen were at the helm of the kitchen. The breakfast fayre too numerous to mention, anything and everything to suit all tastes but the highlight for me were the eggs. Cooked to perfection! Well done girls!
I had to come down to Shields to visit a relative in hospital. The value of my stay was incredible for what I paid. £83 for 2 people including breakfast in a Premium Plus room.nAs we arrived there were signs as we entered the car park to say part of the car park was closed. Whilst parking we noticed a derelict building next to the hotel building. We entered through a temp door due to the derelict building which was a restaurant and bar previously that serviced the hotel and was being disconnected from the hotel.nWe entered through a temp door to reach reception. We were met with a very typical warm and happy North East Welcome. The enthusiasm of the lady who checked us in dark hair shoulder length instantly made me forget the building next door and the temp entrance. She was very attentive and spoke to us like someone she knew which was refreshing to not be spoke to like a product.nOur room was extremely pleasant, a modern feel with a few nice extras including Coffee Machine, bottled water, premium chocolate small bars, fridge and all with a contemporary feel. On looking at the bathroom it again was modern and very spacious. On closer inspection the what looked like tiled walls in the shower were panels and the toilet roll holder was already loose in what looked like a recently renovated room. To use the word premium I’d have maybe expected a bit better quality finishings. That said, the bed was exceptionally comfortable and a great nights sleep was had. A little bit of traffic noise could be heard outside but nothing that would disrupt sleep.nBreakfast always my favourite did not disappoint and in fact i would go as far to say it was one of my best experiences. My expectations of breakfast were somewhat limited after seeing the derelict building next door and when checking in we were told where to go for breakfast but never saw the room. The breakfast room was bright, colourful, modern and small yet appropriate for the size of the hotel. The staff again were exceptionally pleasant, attentive and in my opinion went far above and beyond by explaining that if we wanted anything making up or wanted anything fresh they’d do it. The food was fresh. A couple came in with one of the party having an allergy to certain foods. Sterile cutlery, sterile plate, fresh foods were all provided. Again a very friendly interaction with the young woman who was managing the room throughout our time and on our departure.nOverall I would not hesitate to return predominantly due to the staff.n+ Great value,n+ Great staffn+ Great foodn- Location
We arrived in the dark, it was windy and slightly chilly. The member of staff at reception was cheerful, kind and considerate. The room is warm, comfy and the shower is fabulous. We had the accessible room, a shower seat makes life so much easier for me. Everything is set at two heights, so easier for sitting to do stuff. Asher was working in the breakfast room, singing constantly, a sign she enjoys her work and you can tell. Nothing was too much trouble.nEverything is clean, well appointed and carefully thought through. Thank you.
My stay at this Premier Inn was excellent. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Breakfast was of a high standard, and the staff were consistently attentive. I would especially like to commend the receptionist, who went above and beyond by assisting us with printing important business documents prior to our work commitments. Her professionalism and support were greatly appreciated.
I have stayed in this hotel often for work and have been blown away by how welcoming, friendly and obliging the staff are.nnThe rooms are comfortable newly renovated and always clean.nnThe breakfast is delicious and the service is top notch. It’s a great way to start the day.nnAlthough there is little within walking distance, it is a short drive into South Shields for great dinner options.
