We stay here about twice a year and this was the first time we had to change our room. on initially entering the only chair was so stained it clearly not been cleaned. I do have a picture, but I am not going to post it. The bed side lamp was not secured and I had a curious child with me so felt it wasn't safe.nI went down to reception and shown her the picture along with my complaint.... withing minutes an alternative room was given. This was much better than the previous one however the tiolet seat had a very dodgy looking repair... this I will post...nAlso the light in the lift was hanging downi will post the pic.nGood night's rest. Easy to use air con/heating system. Clean sheets and pillows...nLovely breakfast and good restaurant staff. Good customer service practice.nI would stay here again
We arrived from Norway to check into your hotel. The reception staff asked us many unnecessary questions that made us very uncomfortable. It felt like we were being questioned excessively because of our skin color. We had booked a family room for our nephews, who were supposed to arrive the next day. However, we were denied the room because they were not present, despite our attempts to explain. Jasmine, who claimed to be the duty manager, threatened to call the police and cancel our reservation if our relatives were not present for us to occupy the family room. She yelled at us, making us embarrassed in front of other guests. It was a very uncomfortable experience, and I recommend that Jasmine receive better training to be more understanding and service-oriented. We have done this several times before at Premier Inn without issues, but this time Jasmine ruined our experience with her behavior. I hope this matter is addressed with the staff at Premier Inn South Wimbledon. It’s unfortunate that one employee can ruin the hotel experience.
Free Parking and very close to the Northern tube line was fantastic. Also very handy having a great M&S on the doorstep. The rooms are standard premier inn but were a bit rough/worn but we were barely in the room. Bed very comfy. Great location if you want to travel to London by car for a few days and tube into the city. Can't complain!
We had a 3 night stay here and loved it. Rooms are nice, but it's showing a bit of age. Staff are very helpful. The hotel is placed nicely in Wimbledon, a short walk from train and tram links and loads of buses. There are also plenty of pubs, bars and restaurants to choose from.
Nice little convenient hotel on sight parking is a big plus with Colliers Wood tube station a 5 minute walk. Rooms where clean and comfortable. When we arrived the check in staff weren’t very informative. Didn’t give us any information about check out times, breakfast times she literally gave us our card that was it. I think the best part though was the breakfast Judith the host was very friendly, helpful and polite. Definitely set us off with a pleasant start to our morning. The breakfast it’s self I was pleasantly surprised we had the cooked breakfast option normally you know what to expect all your options under a heat lamp and edible but not as good as freshly cooked, this in my opinion usually results in eggs being over cooked and hard in the middle. However the eggs where cooked perfectly not snotty but perfectly runny it was delicious. So thank you Judith and Jenny for making our whole experience lovely.
