The place was nice and cosy and centrally located to local amenities. You can't beat the price very competitive and will come back.

Can not complain about good house,but being told to get out by two permanent residents and drug use,I would not stay there ever again. They even left the gas on for two days in a row so will not put mylife at risk with long term residents who leave the gas on and use drugs. This was a lovely budget place until these people moved in permanent. I want to live and value my safety with drug addicts as far away as possible.

Myself and my partner stayed at The Good House on 28/08/17. On arrival, we found that there wasn't a sign outside advertising the business and that there wasn't any members of staff on duty to check us into our room. We called the number that we had been given on booking and the lady on the other end of the phone told us that we needed to contact her colleague on another number. When we dialed the given number, our call was rejected and instead we received a text saying that the owner was 'too busy to talk to us'. After 5 minutes of worrying that we'd bee conned, we received another text from the owner, stating a code that we needed to acces the key safe to allow ourselves into the building. Once inside, we let ourselves into our room and were instantly disgusted at the cleanliness of the room. Although we had been provided with clean towels, the floor clearly hadn't been hoovered and we were horrified to discover that our bed sheets hadn't been changed. We were aware that we would be sharing the kitchen with the other tenants but had not been informed that we would also be sharing the bathroom. Which would have fine if the bathroom was kept clean by all occupants. I felt as if I couldn't use the bathroom anyway, after another tenant banged on the door and shouted for me to 'hurry up!'. When I did use the bathroom, I was greeted by damp smells and mould growing on the ceiling. I am aware that the price of the room is cheap but I cannot accept poor hygiene and safety practices. I would not recommend this place, esepecaly so for long or family stays.

Booked a room a month in advance and got a test less than a week before saying that our room will be unavailable
