We were given a Premium Plus room, which was actually quite cosy, quiet, and clean. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble.nThe surrounding area is industrial, and car park accessibility is a bit weird when you first arrive. Once here, though, 303 access is good, and it is easy to get into and around Andover.nFor the price we paid, we were very happy to have booked this Premier Inn.
After staying at the Premier Inn Andover I must express the high level of professional, helpfulness and friendly service I have always been presented with by all staff I have encountered. Whether is be on the check out, at the bar or for the breakfast shift, I have always been presented with a smile and a strong willingness to be attentive to my requirements. Jess, Ellen, Niamh, Emily and Sue are friendly, approachable and I can't praise them highly enough. Thank you for making my many returns as comfortable and relaxing as you have done. A++++++++
A very pleasant stay in this hotel. The staff where very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were decent but the one thing I will say. I wouldn't recommend eating there but there is plenty of nice places to eat around it
We stayed over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The staff were really nice to us. On Boxing Day we were having breakfast we witnessed another customer being remarkably rude that the beans at the breakfast weren't ready quickly enough. Couldn't believe how ungrateful she was that people were working as hard as they could over the Christmas period to look after her.nnRest assured the staff were all lovely, and whilst the place isn't the Ritz, it was a perfect stay with quiet rooms and a nice atmosphere.
Absolutely Appalling Bar Service – A Total Disgrace to Premier InnnnI’ve stayed in plenty of Premier Inns over the years, but this one in Andover has completely put me off ever booking with the chain again. The arrival and check-in process was fine, and the rooms were the standard I expected—but that’s where anything remotely positive ended.nnTHE BAR SERVICE WAS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE. A pitiful selection of just two lagers on tap for the entire weekend because both Guinness and Moretti were unavailable—not just temporarily, but completely off the menu. That’s bad enough, but the real insult came with the operating hours.nnOn Friday night, after a grueling four-hour drive, I was looking forward to a well-earned drink, only to be told last orders were at 10PM. That’s the earliest I have ever seen a bar in a hotel close—utterly ridiculous for a licensed venue. But it got worse.nnAfter a hard day’s work on Saturday, I returned, hoping for better. Instead, I was met with a lack of pint glasses behind the bar, last orders at 9:30PM and the entire bar shut down by 10PM. Staff enforced this with rude, abrupt, and dismissive attitudes, as if guests were an inconvenience rather than paying customers. The whole experience was beyond frustrating—frankly, an insult.nnThis site is an embarrassment to the Premier Inn name. I will never stay here again, and honestly, after this disgraceful experience, I’ll do everything I can to avoid booking with Premier Inn anywhere in the future. If this is the standard they’re now operating at, I’d rather stay literally anywhere else.nnSort it out.
