Booked a room for family who were visiting for a few days. Lovely big room, clean and tidy. Comfortable and quiet. Food was very good and the manager and staff did everything they could to accommodate a member of our party with special dietary needs.

Lovely, interesting and clean place. Perfect location in yhe town centre. Great breakfast, excellent value for money, enjoyed it.

This was poor. Real need of facelift and staff training. Staff quite rude and not welcoming. One of our rooms on arrival had thick spittle all over the long mirror. We reported it straight away (around 3pm) and was told she would try and send someone up. We were going out at that point which we did. We got back around 10.30pm. Nothing had been done!!! Went down to report it again at which point one of the bar staff came up and cleaning it with just stuff you shine mirrored with....left it all smeary. Hardly Great!

Cosy lovely environment to use as a pub or for fd, have never stayed in hotel but been told it nice

Rather noisy on the day I visited. Food ok. Clean bedrooms but considered rather expensive for services provided.
