A nice stay. I’ve been several times while visiting family and never found fault in any of the rooms, they’re still like new! Service has generally been very good and welcoming. Be cautious of the council parking cost next door however.
Excellent, clean hotel. Recently constructed, so one of the very best Premier Inns around. Service adequate. Parking is a big problem. The hotel should have some arrangement for cheap/free parking nearby, as this is not a hotel in a city, and most people will be arriving by car. The multi-story is not suitable for vans of large 4x4s. Price was excellent.
Typical Premier Inn. Comfy beds and peace. Very nice and friendly staff. I took off one-star coz you can't open a window, which for me is very essential and the breakfast after a few days gets very repetitive. Full English or yoghurt.Rooms: 5/5
Wifi didn't work throughout my 4 night stay. Room had a strange smell - a mix of bleach and sick. The room was not cleaned on one day as the cleaner didn't come to work. On a positive note, staff were friendly and the breakfast was fresh and tasted good.Rooms: 2/5
Nice little hotel, quiet and just away from the town by a short walk. Friendly staff that want to interact, ensuring a comfortable feel. Also recommended several areas of interest for us. Would recommend for staying in Tiverton.Rooms: 5/5
Decent overnight stay with rooms quite comfortable and being large enough as descibed for two persons Facilities not great though, not enough towels for two persons nor enough not tea/ milk / coffee available. The TV reception was also poor with a weak signal making watching any channel for a length of time a chore. Rooms were however clean and tidy. Check-in was incredibly slow, with only 2 people ahead of me in the queue it took 20 mins. Not sure if there were problems with the system but when we were assisted using the self service consoles they weren't working either. Having checked in at 5pm was then told that the restaurant was booked until 8pm which was also not great given I had a company allocated amount to spend at the premises.
Same as all Premier Inns. You know what you're getting. The reception and breakfast staff were very friendly. Clean and comfortable hotel. No free parking. Not a great quantity/quality for continental breakfast but acceptable.Rooms: 4/5
Known issue with the car parking which is advertised and for most guests fundamental requirement of staying at the hotel. Multiple levels of the car park are closed at night / on Sundays for unknown and inexplicable reasons, known issue by the hotel staff. Car park not controlled by hotel - but is a key part of their business and have contractural arrangement with council. Signs in car park are confusing. Despite asking multiple questions about car parking charges on checking to the hotel staff, we were not warned. Turns out senior management had activitely been hindering local staff from helping customers with this. Look forward to being reimbursed by Premier Inn for the costs incurred. It is easy and very reasonable to comply with the rules of the car park - however knowing what they are is not straightforward.
Arrived as a Stag & left two nights later as a married man. On the Monday night we were late arriving for our table, but the manager made it possible for us still eat. It was the night before my wedding and we had a small crowd telling stories and drinking. I hope that we weren't too rowdy, but we were told later that it was nice to hear. Special note of thanks to Beth & Tegan for being fabulous and it was so refreshing to meet staff who are so friendly, happy and helpful! We met others who weren't haha. The breakfast on the morning of Wednesday Nov 1st, was cooked much nicer than the previous day and the chef was lovely. The consensus all round was that the food was good! The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. There wasn't much tea and coffee in the room one tea bag & one sachet of coffee. It would be nice if Premier could upgrade to real loo roll not a criticism on this branch, that's a company wide thing. Rooms: Good size room, the tv didn't want to listen to the remote too well & the wifi was slow. The bed was comfy, but it didn't feel as good as the other mattresses at other Premier Inns we stayed in. The walk in shower with chair in our accessible room was great! Walkability: Right in the heart of Tiverton and they have good disabled access. Food & drinks: We had mixed grills and it was all cooked really nicely.
Perfectly OK in terms of cleanliness etc, however if you're anything like me who lives in hotels due to work, you might bring your playstation/Xbox with you - leave it at home. The TVs have had hdmi input disabled. Stayed in two rooms and it was the same story each time. Asked reception to look into but I may as well have been speaking swahili. Oh and be prepared to pay through the nose for parking
