What a great spot for Jamaican food. We walked in with no expectations and left with full bellies and hearts! Donovan’s a great guy. He’s all smiles and very welcoming. We chatted for a while and he shared so much of his family’s history and stories, it felt like we were having lunch at an uncle’s place. The space is very welcoming, and is constantly busy. I didn’t know anything about Jamaican black cake/ christmas cake or what sorrel was and he was so kind to share his knowledge and let me have a little taste. What a treat! They were both very delicious, the christmas cake was so moist and light, I definitely have to order it for my family next time. We had jerk chicken, rice and peas, steamed veggies and a spicy beef patty each. The price was very reasonable and the food was hearty and tasty. The patty pastry was also flaky and smelled inviting. What we thought would be a regular lunch turned out to be a wholesome experience. I highly recommend this neighborhood spot and definitely will come back for the food!
Currently living in the neighbourhood for years and never tried Gery's once until now. I am glad I did and will frequent this restaurant from now on. I didn't realize what I was missing all these years. Loved their jerk pork.Really tasty and portions are generous. Would go back and try other foods as well. Thank you for being in our neighbourhood!
If you’re looking for some wonderful jerk or curry, this is the perfect place to go. I rate this as the better establishment on St. Clair, between Bathurst and Dufferin. Portions are generous and very tasty. We ordered curry goat, jerk chicken and jerk pork. All were wonderful. We will be back.Food: 5/5
Ordered on Uber eats for the second time after having a great experience. Food was excellent and a good portion. Definitely worth stopping in for a bite.Food: 5/5
Went to the place the second time because I couldn't forget the curry goat I got last time. It was still good. Super super tender meat and the portion was good around $15 for a small box full of meat with a side, it was more than enough for me. Will come back again to try the patty next time!Food: 5/5
I ordered a black cake for my son's birthday. It was delicious and beautifully decorated. Over the years I have ordered cake from Jerry's, never been disappointed. Thanks again for an excellent job!

An amazing homey place with delicious food. Service is great and the workers are so nice. Beef patties are spectacular. Parking: The parking is almost always available and affordable. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly with nice people working there.
My first time trying beef patties. I got spicy ones and they were so flavorful and delicious. I loved the interior decor of the restaurant too.
Good food, but not really nice people. Just asked whether I could have a jerk chicken roti, but the owner gave a nasty NO even though the roti shows chicken under roti. Jerk chicken is also chicken the last time I checked!!!
