A very friendly local eatery. Good service and excellent Margaritas! Visited twice and I'd say the risotto is as good as I've had anywhere - the mushroom risotto was deeply flavoured. Had steak for my main both times filet and ribeye: good quality meat, well seasoned and accurately cooked, served with well executed standard sides. The by the glass Montepulciano d'Abruzzo was really good at the price and went well with our steaks. My only caveats are that the house by the glass Pinot Grigio isn't up to much, wet with little discernable flavour, and our Tiramisu was pleasant, well presented but a bit lacklustre more booze needed here! Overall, well worth a visit and I'll go back when I'm in Lanark again.
Very friendly staff , great atmosphere , fantastic food and the wine went down very well too.
Don't often go into Prego as it is quite difficult to get a booking at short notice and am not that organised. Booked this time well in advance and was not disappointed. Food was fabulous, nice sized portions and the staff were absolutely first rate. Prego - recommended Food: 5/5
French restuarant. Visit fairly regularly, never dissapointed. Almost always fully booked & have mostly to reserve seating 2 weeks in advance. Nice ambience, food excellent, staff efficient & friendly. Good menu & usually have an additional special at the weekend. Not keen on set lunch menu. Vegetarian options: Don't study them but there are meat free options Parking: Parking on street a few yards away also car parks nearby

Lovely food and good service. Generous portions, perfectly cooked steak and chicken, nice selection of fresh veg and all hot and freshly cooked. We would have had puddings but we were too full from the feast we had already eaten!
Another superb meal at this high quality restaurant. Fantastic value lunch, great Chicken with mushrooms and an excellent Carbonara. Kids make you own pizza was a highlight for our great granddaughter. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Ps starter where excellent too.
Ordered Food last night for 6pm collection, order was ready and roasting hot at 6pm. Everyone enjoyed the food 100%. Best chips in Lanark too. Pizza, super tasty and pasta dishes all amazingly tasty. Thank you for everything and keeping up the quality during these very difficult times.
