Reviews
It was the annual beer festival with a good selection of real ales. Unfortunately for me, I don't like citrus flavours in my beer, which there were many. Great atmosphere, well attended and a very good band called 100 endings performed live. I will be there next year.
We celebrated a triple birthday party. We had a great time. The staff went out of their way to make sure that everyone had a good time.
Played in an annual bowls competition. Decent bar, good green.
I went there to play Crown Green Bowling with the team I play when possible. We were made very welcome by the Bowling team and gave us a cup of tea. The rest of the team all enjoyed the match and we came out with a winning evening.
Dilapidated. Superb cricket or lacrosse pitch and crown green bowling pitch. Nice football pitch. Tennis courts. Badminton. Many other sports too. Changing rooms. Toilets but no restrooms. Though there is a large hall with tables and chairs if you need to rest. Meeting rooms. Bar area. Hall for floor exercises for adults or toddlers.
