We've had a fantastic week here at Pound Farm. Lots of lovely places of interest to visit, magical scenery and such amazing lodges, equipped with everything we needed. Thank you so much Maggie and Billy for making our holiday so special. 😁

I never usually bother writing reviews, but in this case I felt it was worthwhile.

I booked with Pound Farm at short notice for a couple of days walking and diving in the Lakes, Maggie who I dealt with on the phone was charming and helpful. 

The apartment was spacious, well equipped and spotless but what really stood out was on the day we were leaving, I had an issue with the car ( the perils of using a 25 year old Jag for the trip, rather than something newer)

 I explained to the gentleman whose name I did not get my predicament and he was more than happy for us to delay our check out by several hours meaning my other half and Mum could remain in comfort while I sorted out the car.

I was extremely pleased with this and was most surprised and impressed when they would not take any payment for the extra time.

Lovely place and lovely people,  we will be back.

Fantastic accommodation in Bank view  more than we neededbiut booked originally with both children coming.
Spacious, clean and welcoming with good facilities. Characterful rooms with exposed beams and a sympathetic adaptation from the barn that it once was. Billy and his mum are first class. very welcoming and knowledgeable.  They were very supportive  when my son had a medical incident heartily recommended.

Nice quiet sight. Pod was nice and warm and the toilets were modern and clean. I stayed here March 2016 and hoping to be back again. We did the Kentmere Horseshoe walk which was fab.
