Beautiful setting! Lovely, clean and peaceful site. The pitch we were given felt spacious and the way everyone is staggered meant it felt quite private too. The staff were very friendly. The shower and toilet block is small but very clean. The little play area for the kids was brilliant. We forgot to bring a deck of cards but the site warden gave us his. The teeny shop was remarkably well-stocked for the size. Thank you for a lovely stay. We'll be back!

Very nice site in a very pretty area. Excellent views of the rolling hills over the dry stone walls. Fairly basic but very clean toilet block in perfect working order. Laundry room is provided and pot washing facilities too. I'd definitely come here again!

We have the best pitch of all club sites we have ever visited. Tucked away in a quiet corner we could be anywhere. That said, this site has some "quirky" pitches (staff quote, not mine) but it is a lovely and intimate site. There is a riverside walk to the edge of Kendal and there is a supermarket ten minutes walk away. 
Remember your chocks and it is the Lake District so have your waterproofs ready. Finally, there are lots of birds so bring your binoculars.

Good site mostly hard standing for electric but able to use rock pegs for a tent . Clean and tidy site and toilet block .
