Used to quite enjoy coming here... Cheap, well made food and decent service. Easily spend a tenner or more at a time and not bat an eyelid.  Well after today, I won't be going back.  Had THE WORST PASTY OF MY LIFE Chilli Beef. Honestly, my kids would bring something better back from school/play scheme. There was barely anything inside. Just a red paste, the stingiest amount of veg and...... I'm actually questioning now whether that was anything to do with meat in there.  I get the cost of living crisis and all that but why not just reduce the menu instead?  As for the service. Mandark "Tenhead", he obviously must have been having a bad day today or a hot flush, fed up with his job or just generally being a jobs worth. Either way, the language and tone was particularly distasteful. It's not the first time I've encountered but it sure as hell will be the last.  Such a shame. RIP Poundbakery

Don't listen to the bad reviews, it's very good value in there especially compared to gregs. Sure the food doesn't look as appetizing but its all about the taste and its fine!Food: 4/5

The customer service is terrible there at this place, The staff are not helpful, even though I explained to them that I need help reading the menu as I have visual impairment, they refused. I’m not gonna go any more back to this place. It’s terrible.Atmosphere: 1/5

We bought some donuts on the 18th of May that were very stale, turns out they had pushed the date back on them see photo. Very disappointed...Food: 1/5

Cold sausage sandwich and just about everything £1.60, should be had for trade description. Very poor service and terrible food. Would give no stars if I could.Food: 1/5

Cheaper than Greggs, and you get what you pay for. Had a Strawberry Cream Tart and the strawberry jam/jelly filling was so runny that when I bit into it it poured down my hand; leaving none in the tart. It was closer to strawberry cordial than jam. Sausage rolls at 2 for a pound? Can't get cheaper, but it definitely tastes like it.

For some reason, no idea why, I thought I'd grab a bite here quickly. Ordered a cornish pasty and quite honesty, the filling was the size of a marble. Just all pastry. But the absolute worst was the cup of 'tea' Good god, milk, tea bag and that was it...looks  The lad had never made a cuppa in his life. One sip and it was binned..Just go to the market and give your cash to local business that appreciate your business. Awful.
