Don't leave a bag on the 382 because itl end up all the way here and if you don't drive its honestly a nightmare to get to! But that said huge thanks to staff who kept hold of my rucksack for a fee extra days as my family was grieving the loss of a family member so I really appreciated that, its confusing to get to for vunerable passengers I.e sight impaired so get help to get there if you can if you drive your fine lol
I lost my wallet so I asked the lady on the front if it's been handed in 84 it's not our company even though it goes to the bus garage and it was the same bus company so then I decided to go to the bus garage and he was even ruder he wouldn't even look it just saying bus driver would never hand it into this bus garage shouting at me about it and then when I ask for phone number he stopped talking to me some other guy had to help that was there also buses are so unreliable sometimes they come 10 minutes early sometimes 10 minutes late or it doesn't turn up at all
Absolutely horrendous experience. Left my purse on a bus in central London. Traced it back to this bus station which is located outside of London. I described the purse perfectly but the lady I spoke to on the phone was so rude and accusatory, implying that I was lying. They refused to post my purse and said it needed to be collected in person. However with all my cards in the purse travelling to the station was pretty much impossible. Especially given you can’t pay cash on public transport nowadays. It’s 2024 you should be able to post lost properly and help people in times of need.
Must be lovely living in potters bar as there is hardly any traffic ,
I can confirm, just as a lot of other comments on the website have mentioned, that Potters Bar Bus Garage do not answer the telephone whatsoever. Must have called at least 20 times today, two of which they were engaged to someone else, only for the call to ring out every time. It would appear that us Joe public, who pay their wages, are just not very important to them to be bothered to pick up the phone!
