Worst customer service!! Especially from the lady. I go regularly to return parcels and on more than one occasion she’s ignored me even being there and carried on talking to her colleague. When she does acknowledge you it’s as if you’re the biggest burden to her day.
Very friendly local service which offers a wide range of services from Bureau de Change to National Lottery and of course including Bill payments, passport check and send, car tax, broadband and home Internet even. You can also do money transfers with MoneyGram. Letters and postal services as well obviously. You can also deposit money into your bank account from here even if your bank is closed. Any bank - Barclays, Natwest, Santander, all of them.
A huge thank you to the staff at London Road Post Office for their help yesterday when I realised that I had put the wrong house number on a parcel I was sending. When I called to ask for their help they very kindly retrieved the parcel and amended the number. The parcel reached its destination today. Thank you so much!
An efficient post office with hard-working staff. Not sure why it was refurbished twice in recent years, but the layout is good. They recently added an extra till at the front, which handles post and items bought in the shop area. During the pandemic we have queued outside which was OK when it wasn't raining. Please don't refurbish again too soon, as the other post offices are rather far from the main part of the town.
Bold guy behind the tillsorry didn't notice his name badge but he works there long timethe best ever! Very fast and sharp, takes him 3 seconds to scan and print prepaid parcel receipt. Others are ok, but not everyone, some of them really like to waste your time and make you wait. Pretending they have to sort out rubber bands or envelopes or whatever.
Be weary of any 5 Star review of this place. If you like coldness, rudeness and bad organisation, then this is the post office for you! The lady behind the counter would do well to mind her P’s and Q’s. Only use this place if you absolutely have to.
I always find the staff helpful and courteous. If I am uncertain what the correct postage/service is, I am informed without any attempt to make me feel stupid. If there is a queue and there often is I am not rushed through. I am treated with kind manners and this is appreciated. This office could do with more staff but I believe that the staff they have are doing their best.
Went in to get out some cash from my account, didn’t know I could but the new sign in the front said cash withdrawals so I have it a go. Sandy was really helpful and patient with me. First class service! Thanks you!
I went here to get a coded passport photo, the chap behind the counter was only too pleased to assist and make sure I selected the right photo format ect.
Utterly awful service. The Guy working behind the till was so rude to me when I tried to return a parcel. He told me the returns label on my parcel didn’t exist and said ‘where the hell do you expect me to send this?’ I told him that was the label that came with my item, and should be returned via royal rail. I showed him the return address on my phone via the website of my parcel. He dismissed it and told me I don’t what I’m talking about. I decided to drive down to another local post office, where my parcel was sent and I was back out of the shop within 30 seconds.
