The post office counter is to be found at the back of the store. I visited here to send a parcel abroad. I first visited seven months ago and was impressed with this branch. However, I revisited today and was served by the same member of staff. First time I was served by her she was, lovely, friendly and thorough. This time she was rude, unhelpful and generally tried to be awkward. Also she had been gossiping to a aquatance of one of her friends Karen. Karen was ill with Corona apparently. But she's a lovely person apparently. Not that we wanted to know! Her colleague was clearly frustrated that she was gossiping and keeping customers waiting. The queue built up, all because we had to learn about Karen! In short, a bad experience caused by one member of staff being too concerned with hyperbole and not her work, plus her general attitude.
Staff are consistently helpful and unfailingly polite. A great level of service at the Post Office part itself and the independent shop has an excellent variety of products. Their herbs, spices and seasonings selection is particularly good and they sell a number of world foods not found in other shops locally for very reasonable prices. Highly recommended for people who enjoy cooking.
not sure why people are giving low marks . The guys see are all lovely , we are in here everyday, its a post office of course there will be a queue . The shop is very well stocked and spices and herbs are more than any cook could want 5 stars
Manager of shop very rude. Post office lady told me to always bring dog in as one was stolen when left out. Owner of shop today told me to get out as I had a dog with me, I explained what the post office lady told me and he said it was not his problem but to get out. Very arrogant and rude man!
They are always busy, but are doing there best it serves alot of people, and the staff are great, it's the Christmas period so be patient, we are all human Merry Christmas x
So the staff here are a great bunch but not enough at peak times... Long queues around lunch
Lovely staff ,very helpful, training takes time and the best way to learn is a hands on approach and to ask questions!!
Best staff and very good service.
It's a post office. Often a queue. A necessity
