Freindly cheerful extremely helpful staff, they deal with large volumes of business as fast as they can and have post machines as well which are always staffed, a brilliant post office.

This is one of the best smaller town post offices in the area because it has one of those sel-service parcel posting machines - 2 in fact. In addition, a wide service counter with up to 5 desk positions and a roving helper to sort difficulties out. There is a also a photo booth and, blessedly for me at least, no constant TV monitor selling insurance or some other commercial must have. There's also a parcel collection point and a car park for the same at the rear of the building, accessed via the entrance to Waitrose, on your way of their car park. All in all, a typically good high street post office, not some pale imitation in a branch of Waterstones

Long slow queues. Some staff are amazingly slow. Hateful place.
