Amazing good, fantastic ambience, great service. Location is easy to get to with good parking nearby. Highly recommended if you like Napoli style Italian food. Outside of Naples, this is one of the best Ive had!
Literally the best pizza that I ever had in my entire life. The staff was very professional, and we received our dinner quite quick. The wine was served perfect. The only thing that I have against the place, that I tried to order a delovery and it was cancelled. It was a shame as I wanted to present the words best pizza to mu friends. Vegetarian options: Pizza.
Great food! Great service! It will be even better if we can choose spaghetti or linguine rather than the “udon” type pasta!
As an Italian myself there are always 5 things I check in a restaurant I want to go to: Italian spesking staff Good sourced products and authentic flavours Special of the day and flexibility on the menu Good Coffee Clean tables and attention to customer. I was greeted by Annunziata and then served by the Slovakian manager whom I don't remember the name but was supercompetent and always checking on me. When you are alone normally tables tend to overlook you, but this time was not the case. I ordered the special of the day, a dessert and a coffee. Waiting times were spot on for what was cooked and the staff is attentive to everything that is going on on the floor. Only little cons is the gentleman's toilet has a windows in which people walking behind can see what business you are doing. I advice either put a vent and close that window, or use something else. Prices are good and the stonebaked pizza is superior to the others in town. Also a touch of class is not charging immediately the 20% on top, but letting know that anything on top goes in tips straight to waiters. That is a really class move and all business SHOULD TAKE NOTE. Do yourself a favour and try this restaurant if you live around here.
Loved this place, the food is amazing. The best goats cheese I've ever had. The staff are lovely, very personable, and helpful. It's such a nice atmosphere there, I'm really looking forward to going back.
One of the best restaurants in Canterbury. Everything was delicious. To start we had caprese salad and fried calamari which was fresh and crispy. For mains we had linguine vongole and the calzone which was filled with ricotta cheese salami ham and I added some nduja to spice it up. Very delicious. Service was quick and we were moved to a better table even though it was quite busy. Will definitely visit again if I'm in Canterbury again.
Great Italian food from Napoli. I had the seafood pasta and my friend had the quattro formaggi pizza. Both were outstanding. The restaurant is not far from the city center. Helpful Hint: There is an informative 90 minute tour of Canterbury for £10 beginning at Christchurch gate at 11:00 AM. Take the tour and after the tour have lunch at Posillipo.
The best Italian I’ve found in the city. Warm and friendly but classy and classic, I left feeling happy from the inside out! I judge Italian by two criteria 1. It’s gotta be better than what I can do at home for myself and 2. If I can have pasta for appetizer and entree and still feel comfy having a bit of dessert with my espresso it’s a big win! The handmade pasta -hard for carbs to qualify for these adjectives- is light and fresh. With its great food and service, friendly staff and quality value for price, Posillipo is an easy favorite!
Our favourite place to eat in Canterbury. Never disappoints, wonderful food, amazing service and great atmosphere. The wood pizza oven is amazing too, as is the wine list. Great value for money and 100% recommended.Food: 5/5
Chose sea food pizza, so disappointed, the dough was so tough could hardly cut,so left half, topping was sparse best part were the delicious tomatoes. Did report back to be told he had had a pizza earlier & dough was soft. This didn't help. Three of us dined and two of us had same pizza and both were same.Food: 2/5
