great customer service. I needed to have my documents certified, member of staff who dealt with me was really helpful and sweet, she went above and beyond with photocopying my driving license for free which I had forgot to do. for someone who hardly uses the Post Office I had a really positive experience.
Manager of this shop incredibly unprofessional. Shouted me down on the phone before she hung up the phone when I've had a mistake spotted on my receipt and needed assistance. If you want to be treated well as customer avoid this venue and visit another one.

The staff in Portswood Post Office are amazing! I’ve been using this Post Office for years and the customer service I received last week was great. Now that staff have changed from the original 2 miserable blonde ladies who were extremely rude & careless towards customers always tut-ing and closing early and belittling others, the new staff are friendly, polite & helpful. Smiles & customer service have been restored! Wooo
I was rather stressed as I needed to collect my packages today last minute. At first it was a struggle to find one of my packages, but one of the ladies was excellent, understanding of my stress, and did a second look through to eventually find my package. Considering it was nearing the end of their shift too, I thought it deserved a top review!
The service is so slow. They are obviously understaffed but the staff also do not prioritise serving customers. They will often have only one staff member serving a line of 15+ customers at snail pace while the other staff member goes off into the other room to do something else in full view of the waiting angry customers. In my opinion customers should be prioritised during busy periods and these other tasks done after the rush has ended. But the staff seem incapable of making a decision that puts customers first.
Lovely post office. I use it every day I'm working and never had a problem. Friendly and co-operative staff!
