An excellent campsite with private access to the beach. Wonderful views and very peaceful. We also got to try the oysters and mussels that are farmed there. Which were the best i have ever tasted. The only downside is that it is close to Gordon Ramsay's house which, as a Cornish citizen, left a sour taste in my mouth. We will be staying again.
The hosts were so accommodating and the chalet was extremely clean. Nothing was too much trouble and it was very comfortable. The campsite was immaculate and had a home like feel. Right up until the point we were leaving and the host came to say goodbye and took interest in the rest of our stay. Will definitely be visiting again.
We had an amazing stay at Porthilly Caravan, beautifully decorated home with high quality appliances. Hosts are great, they respond very quick to queries, on hand to assist any time of the day. Perfectly located with good access to key tourist points. Looking forward to our next stay at the caravan.
Not the caravan site, but the pop up camp site. Lovely quiet and well kept. Instructions to find sounded like it was going to be a nightmare but it really wasn't. What3words on the gate is executive.melts.saddens
Very well run caravan site with all the necessary facilities. The site next to a working farm which in my opinion enhances the experience. Nice and quiet & very relaxing.
Great location! I loved the cows in the field beside us. It was super easy to walk to the beach and then take the £3 ferry to Padstow and back to rock!
WOW !!! 5***** Highly Recommend .. Luxury stay in Beautifully Furnished Caravan by far the best we’ve ever stayed in.. Location is perfect really enjoyed travelling on water taxi’s over to Padstow .. Rock is Stunning you will not be disappointed.. we are already looking to re-book.. Big Thank you to hosts Carolanne & Luke thank you for having us
