What a fantastic find in the sleepy village of Laugharne!nnThis truly amazing family-run street food café is an absolute gem. Vince, Poon, and all of their staff made us feel so welcome with their warm, friendly hospitality.nnWe enjoyed both lunch and breakfast here, and the food was so incredible that we couldn't resist having Thai for breakfast too! Every dish was freshly cooked by Poon, and the authentic Thai flavours were outstanding.nnThe famous monkfish curry was simply melt-in-the-mouth delicious. We also enjoyed the salmon in red Thai sauce, spicy pork, sweet and sour pork, garlic chilli king prawn stir-fry, and pancake rolls—every dish was packed with flavour and cooked to perfection.nnThe homemade cakes were just as impressive. We sampled the brownies, chocolate fudge cake, and apple crumble, and they were all absolutely delicious.nnYou can even bring your own alcohol for a small corkage fee, and they thoughtfully provide chilled glasses.nnWe only wish we could take you all home with us! Thank you, Vince, Poon, and the whole team, for such wonderful food and hospitality. We'll definitely be back.

From the moment I called to book a table, I knew this was going to be a good experience, the owner was so friendly and accommodating. When we arrived we were welcomed warmly and the service was attentive from all staff. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. They made adjustments to make extra dishes vegan and this was no problem at all.

As a family, we enjoyed a delicious lunch at Poons today. Some had Thai food, others British, but we all had cake! Poon was friendly and chatty and her food was amazing! It is lovely to see her out of the kitchen and chatting warmly with customers. Sherrie was such an accommodating host, nothing was any trouble and she went out of her way helping us with options, and the lovely young lady at the counter was friendly and helpful. We felt welcomed from the moment we opened the front door! We popped to the local shop to get some wine to go with our lunch and a £2 corkage fee is so reasonable, especially as they provide chilled glasses! One happy bunch

Lovely place and lovely people doing their best to make you feel welcome with good food to back it up. Poon is a great cook with great produce. Very easy to recommend a visit here whatever time of the day you're passing. Try the Monkfish Thai curry or something like a breakfast just how you like it.

21/7/25: A lovely cafe on two floors in the picturesque town, close to the famous Brown’s pub where Dylan Thomas frequently drank. They serve an interesting selection of Asian and Western cuisine along with classic rolls and sandwiches plus a selection of delicious cakes. It’s dog friendly both down and upstairs and with friendly staff and owners serving and cooking the delicious food. The day we visited they were very busy and we had to ask again for our coffee having already eaten our savoury dishes  but that’s probably testament to their good food, environment and friendliness of their business.
