I had an extremely disappointing experience at this location. First off, the hygiene was completely unacceptable — I noticed a lot of flies inside, which is not only gross but a serious health concern. This was even captured in a video, which says a lot about how bad the situation was.nnTo make matters worse, the staff was extremely rude. I specifically requested my burger without mayo, and when the order was wrong, I went back to the counter to get it corrected. Instead of simply fixing the issue, the staff began interrogating me, asking “Who took your request? Show me that person” — as if it was my job to keep track of their employees. This is not the customer’s responsibility.nnEventually, I found the staff member who took the order, but by then, the experience had already left a bad taste. This was easily the worst customer service I’ve ever received at any fast food place. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
Knowing this branch can be hit and miss, it all depends on time of day. Having a breakfast wrap and hot chocolate both were piping hot and very nice, followed by an extra hash brown which again was very hot. Granted it was quiet and breakfast time but unfortunately with these establishments when they are busy they do unfortunately let the standards slip. As previously said I have changed the times I come here and tend to have less issues. Food was nice and tasty and I do enjoy the occasional brekkie.
Box standard McDonalds, staff is friendly, parking is very difficult during Saturday lunch time. Wood also as it should be. Facilities aren’t that great, broken tap.
As a 68-year-old male I must have been the oldest person in the restaurant. Even the young parents looked like children! I was served by a very kind, humorous young man and collected my meal wrap of the day, French fries and orange juice from a pleasant young lady. They both smiled, which makes one feel welcome.nnThe atmosphere was peaceful, my meal was tasty,nand the lady who was cleaning was very friendly.
What a lovely place along the river.nFood was lovely along with hot drinks. Lovely little gem.
