Good facility but Always busy and often struggle to find a space. If patient is wheelchair bound, extremely difficult to 'drop off' and then park. A long walk from car park into hospital, especially if you don't feel well.
First I look at Web page for the carpark it needs to be updated I think, as a disabled person if you park in the disabled spaces and display your blue badge in the car, so how can you show the parking office proof of your blue badge to get free parking while the car is libel to a parking fine also make it more visible that their is no parking meter in the carpark itself The only parking payment meter is in the main entrance to the hospital so make sure that you use it as it's a long walk or wheelchair to the carpark and back as my wife found out while waiting to pay for the carpark ticket as the carpark office was closed, a staff orderly person from the hospital told my wife that all the parking was free the carpark barriers were up supposedly but when getting to the barriers they were not up my wife got out of the car to pay by card at a barriers the barriers when up so we did get free parking in the end . in collusion there must be a camera above the carpark barriers to see the badge, it won't be long before we will be there again.... Will let you know...ps old people and the have moaned to me about the long walk to the hospital from the carpark in the past, when I was able to use the carpark on a motorcycle ..
Terrible. Insufficient capacity to meet demand. Frequently so full that you're directed to the dolphin centre, or swimming pool, carpark. I'd never have guessed someone could get parking so wrong.
Spaces are a little narrow and often find it full on the mornings. If you're near the front and it's full, it's not easy to turn round and find somewhere else
Waited so long to get in as it was full. One out and one in. Car got overheated. Parking spaces not really big enough now as people have such large vehicles, so difficulty negotiating a space. Blood pressure up when tested in hospital!
Car park full. it took 30 minutes to find a space after waiting as barrier would not open until a car left. Leave plenty of time for an appointment

Arrived 2pm on a Monday, spent 50 minutes driving up and down looking for a space before giving up and finding parking in a nearby street.
Bloody awful carpark pay machines not working .enough stress going to hospital come on sort it out
