Stairs are dirty, when driving, turning to go up or down the different levels could be a big tight for big cars but not as bad as other car parks in the area. SUV is totally doable. The location is ideal for people visiting the city centre
I wouldn't normally review a car park but this is an exception. It is so grubby, the stairs smell awful, there was a homeless person sleeping in the middle of the floor of one of the levels and I wouldn't dare try the lift. It's expensive the only good thing is the location is that it's quite central. Bcp council really need to clean it up.
High Street Shops carpark is horrendous, overly expensive, dirty, dingy and with very narrow spaces.
Car park was very had very tight ramps - lots of front near side scuff from bumpers in ramp walls. Parked up well. But then found Quayside area was closed fully, most shops had no lights on so must have been closed. Only thing open in Quayside was one of 2 pubs. Rain must have stopped play, typical as it also stopped play at the Ashes today. Not sure why Poole was unwelcomining. Cambridge City is all ways vibrant - hint hint!!
Clean car park. Well lit and fair price. Even had a drunk tramp offering local guidance and was living in the lift and operated it for us.
Not as narrow as the multi storey car park near the quay. Usually spaces at higher levels. But priced at Borough of Poole prices so therefore too high to encourage shoppers
Car park was shabby, like a back street car park. Not a place for a female to go alone. Very expensive. And quite far from the shops. I wanted to come as I hadn't been since I was a child but don't remember it being like this. The lifts were old and surprised they could actually move. Come on Poole council - sort it out before you lose tourists
Lousy car park. Horrible dark smells like a tramps trousers. Tiny entrance and then ended up scraping my wheel and tyre on way out because of poor directions on the exit and extended high curbs after barriers. Never park here again! £165 worth of damage!
Hadn't been to Poole for 2 years because it had become so shabby. Went on 20th June in the hope it had improved-- It hadn't. Even more shops closed near the Quayside. What a shame! The family used to love coming for a visit. This car park has got even shabbier. The lift doors on floor H are a mixture of rust and old paint, was surprised the lift still worked! Owners of lg vehicles need to be very careful when negotiating the ramps on each floor whilst going up not quite so bad coming down We know councils have to keep tight control on spending but Poole has always been a tourist attraction bringing money & jobs to the area but people will stop coming if the place isn't smartened up starting with the car parks & the council helping small businesses with lower business rate.s.
Really easy to check in and out on the pay machines so you don't have to rush about.
