A great chemists, but I feel it's overpressured by current customer numbers like most these days as they are practically next door to a walk-in centre and often plagued with supply issues again, not a unique problem in the world of pharmacies which they endeavour to rectify as quickly as possible. I won't stop using them, especially since they have 365 day opening times may vary, please use NHS website for opening hours as currently Google is showing it closed Fri, sat and sun which it's not. The staff are friendly, and competent, whilst giving a close knit family vibe.
After struggling to get stock of my medication at Boots & Tesco, apparently it’s on a manufacturing problem. I phoned to see if they had any stock. The friendly staff member, I later found out was called Dawn, advised me they had 1 box. As I had none left I asked if she could hold it for me as I would pop up to collect it straight away. Dawn said this was not a problem & simply to ask for her. On collection Dawn then offered to ring me when the rest of my item arrives. I can’t thank her enough for her amazing service & understanding of how stressful it was for me, she’s a credit to your company.
So I've just been for a Covid booster shot and I have a couple of concerns about the procedure. 1. The syringe used for the shot was open on the desk when I walked in. That is, it was not taken from a sterile container, just picked up, loaded and used. 2. The swabbing of my arm was done with cotton wool no alcohol. When I asked about this, the reply was "That's right, no alcohol. The alcohol is on my hands from the sanitiser". I am not sure that proper protocol is being followed, here, so if anyone knows more, please reply/comment.
Had 3 vaccines here , never had a problem . Always polite . Just had 2nd booster today n the man who did it was lovely . My dad who's 85 just recently had his 2nd vac here and had no problems afterwards. Thank you
Extremely disorganised for COVID boosters. You go in and there are about 20 people sitting so close together with appointment times completely ignored and they go by whoever is sitting closest to the room where the jab is administered.
Some staff like to withhold your medication when ur in pain just to be spiteful in my appianon don't recommend this chemist at all.
Had my seasonal booster here on Sunday afternoon, the pharmacist was so kind and informative. Would highly recommend.
Refuse to give necessary treatment and medication to a lot of customers stay clear
I am a young women who cares for a wonderful women with several disabilities, getting her medication should never be a difficult task! However, due to clearly a lack of attention at this workplace my wonderful client is never given her medication on time and this has caused unimaginable pain and distress. I have asked her several times to change chemist but she’s still this kind hearted women she will not. I hope you see this and see how much pain and stress you have all caused because of the lack of of training you all have.
Laura gave me my 2nd Pfizer jab today and was absolutely amazing. As someone who is nervous with jabs I couldn't believe how quick and easy she made it. Plus there was a fish tank at the side to keep me distracted, such a good idea! The lady on the door and the lady I spoke to on the phone were really professional, friendly and accommodating. I'd called ahead of time due to personal circumstances and when I arrived the usher had a note ready for me, so really excellent service. There was a bit of a queue down the street but it's Saturday morning drop-in so that's to be expected and it moved really quickly, there is a waiting area inside for you to sit down when it's nearly your turn and the atmosphere inside is really relaxed. Just want to say thank you to all the staff at the pharmacy for helping me to get my jab, it was a really positive experience and I massively appreciate your help.
