Great festival atmosphere. Excellent shower blocks. Great base location for exploring from. Dog friendly beach. Close to shops. Great breakfast from on site shop and cafe.
Best washing facilities of any campsite we have ever stayed at. Don't be put off by the road and railway near by. You can't hear them after 7pm really. The staff go above and beyond for everyone there. Only a short walk to the bridge to the beach too Restrooms: Best showers and toilets of any campsite we have ever stayed at Dog-friendliness: They love dogs on the campsite Picnic area: There are trees and benches to have little picnic away from your tent if you like
Staff on site were lovely and very approachable and happy to help. Nice and relax atmosphere on the site. Amazing toilet and shower facilities, cleaned daily. There was also a mop left in each one so you could mop after yourself which was handy when it’s rained and muddy. I had a lovey pitch under a tree with electric. My dog had recently been attack and so was cautious about other dogs but all dogs on the site were kept on leads and we were able to pitch away from tents/ caravans with other dogs. Lots to do within walking distance, didn’t need the car at all which was lovely. Public transport seemed fab too although I didn’t use it. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I would come back again and many people on the site were repeat visitors. :
Delightful small site with the things that make camping easier: takeaway café, washing machine & dryer, communal fridge/freezer, exemplary shower/toilet facilities and, as other reviews mention, extremely helpful staff. The site is easy to get to on the A30, making it a good base for exploring the the area. It is a short walk into Penzance and a 500m walk to the beach.
Amazing little summer campsite. Campfires encouraged. Lovely full English breakfast on site and very reasonably priced. Dog friendly. Very helpful and friendly people who run the campsite. Clean and perfect private facilities. Lovely stay. Very much enjoyed it. Shame we couldn't stay longer! Beach across the road and short walk into town. No need to drive its all on the doorstep! Thank you so much guys for an amazing weekend away. We will definitely be back next year for a longer stay. Absolutely fantastic!
Great campsite, excellent location. Right next to a supermarket, over the road from the beach, and within a short walk from Penzance town centre. Nice and clean facilities, and there was a place to wash up and charge phones etc too. The staff were very friendly. Had a lovely time, highly recommend.
Great site, staff really helpful and on site throughout the day giving peace of mind re security. Showers/toilets excellent, always hot and clean. On site cafe handy too. Central to all local attractions in the area, good links to public transport. Looking forward to booking again next year.
Been coming ever year for longer than I can remember now . Always a great stay . Next door to a 24hr tesco 5 minute from the town a beach across the road what more can you ask for and staff that are always willing to help and are on site normally between 6 & 7 am to 10pm at night everyday two toilet and showers blocks either end of the field which are always clean & tidy . A little kiosk on site for teas & coffees and a selection of hot food
I loved this place!! The beach was a 5 minute walk, shops a 5 minute walk. Cheap and the 2 men running it were lovely!! We could have a fire, they sold wood for the fire, fire pit too. Clean showers, toilets and kitchen area. There was everything you needed and even the gates were locked at night for safety. A stream rang at the edge of the site under a bridge into the sea that we were told by a local it was a good snorkel place 5 minutes away you could get a ferry in town 5 min car ride into town the sea and beach was clean. 5 minutes away was tescos, another 5 minutes was sainsbury's, another 5 minutes there was morrisons. This place was so good you didn't have to move far for anything! Highly recommended!!!!!
Super site if your sight seeing in & around Penzance. Close enough to walk into the centre or to Marazion. People very friendly. Toilets and showers available & also a wash room too. They'll even cook your breakfast. We had a lovely stay.
