We spent three nights on this cozy, peaceful campsite. It’s a perfect spot to discover the southernmost part of Cornwell, close enough to reach every place by bike.nThe host is really friendly and helpful. The site is well maintained. The bathrooms are clean, showers hot. Very fair price. We fully recommend the campsite.
Was here the other week what a fab little site excellent clean facilities. The wardens tony and his misses couldn't do enough for us. We have a 8.7mtr motorhome he watched me park it up as its tight to manoeuvre in places. Told us where the main amenities were I.e the pub and chippy which are both about a 7min walk away and both fantastic for the village. Thanks again tony. Hope to return soon.
Booked this very last minute, booked a camp pitch with electrics which was very good value for money, private gate access have a code to go in and out. Quiet and small and felt peaceful. Brought our dog at an extra cost which we knew when booked. Clean toileting facilities, additional cost of £1 for use of the shower which was documented when we booked. Owners were helpful and friendly. Would come again when in Penzance.
Right where do I start.nnBooked this place over the phone they wanted payment straight away, normal I know but just seemed strange how they came across. Payed £200 for 2nights for my family’s motorhome and my cousins family’motorhome. Told the lady we will be there for 11am.nnWe arrived at 11am she greeted us at the gate with a face like thunder saying check ins are 1pm bear in mind 11am was fine until money was payed over. She spoke to us in front of my kids like utter muck.nnThey let us on anyway showed us our plots and vanished.nnThe site is smaller than my home back where I live you would struggle to swing a cat round on it, not 1 person was smiling when we arrived so that was a red light straight away, no shop on site or near, 1 shower 1 toilet 2 sinks to provide the full camp.nnWe was there literally 1hour and thought we can not stay here. So we went off for the day to st Michaels mount, after we calmed down abit we thought we’ve paid for it so let’s just go back it’s somewhere to sleep literally so we returned at 6.30pm got the kids ready for bed just about to cook tea for the kids the electricity went off, my plot my other parties plot and a family from Germany’s plot next to us.so I got the number off the reception door and rang it no answer.nnFuming at this point, went to bed woke up next morning still no electricity. Had to wait till 9am until reception opened and the handyman there was a massive help sat there with a plug in his hand saying I’m trying to sort the electricity out can I help you I replied yes and told him about my experience and he just looked up and said email the owner . Absolutely disappointed and £200 out of pocket so we left that morning never stayed for the other night.nnSo BEWARE STAY AWAY from this place. The camp that is run by people behind a door nnWish I could do minus starsnnHad a email response and there just out right lying trying to make my family out to be animals place wants flooding
Stayed here in a motorhome for 4 nights lovely clean well looked after site, a friendly and helpful warden, it's about a 20 minute walk to Penzance sea front, a little convenient store in the village next to a chip shop, we didn't get to try the chip shop, but we tried the sport bar pub which is a 10 minute walk from the campsite, good food big positions. Bus just around the corner from the pub which we got into St Ives took about a hour.. would definitely return again.
